All Bar One Nottingham — Restaurant in Nottingham

Recently booked a table here for 8 people on a Thursday night, upon arriving there were only 2 other tables occupied other than ours. It seemed that after no one came to take our orders for a while that we weren't going to get served. I went over to the bar (no staff to be seen, had to shout excuse me into the staff room next to the bar), and when trying to order was told there is no table service (Covid) and we would have to use the app to order our dinner but we could order our drinks now at the bar. A few of us wanted the Pina coladas and pineapple daquiris as well as some beer, so I ordered those but the bar lady then said they were out of pineapple juice and had been for weeks so we couldn't have any of the cocktails with that ingredient in. I had to go back to the table relay that to my friends and try and pick something else, and oh boy the app is really bad. Its very unresponsive and slow and overall was just a bit of a nightmare to use with 8 people to order for. Considering the price we would be paying for food and drinks at this supposedly "high end" restaurant this just was not the service I wanted. Constantly felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff. We left without ordering anything and went to an Italian round the corner and had a much better experience.

So, switched venues for my 60th birthday meal as not happy with previous place. Booked online on Tuesday for 15 people to dine on the Saturday evening.

Rang as well and spoke to Esha I think. Normally obviously you should preorder (out of courtesy to the chef and kitchen) for that many people, especially on a Saturday.

Long story short All Bar One could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Menus would be on tables (very elderly parents with us) and they made an exception for our large group of 15 so we could order when we got there (we got there half an hour beforehand).

Great selection on the menu. We were looked after by one lovely front of house gentleman who could not have looked after us better. All of our food arrived promptly and at the same time and was great. Big up to the kitchen too for that. Thank you!

Because it was my birthday they brought out the cake we'd brought with us with plates. Which we thought was above and beyond when they were potentially losing money on desserts.

Nothing was too much trouble. Very relaxing, welcoming and professional customer service both beforehand and on the night.

AVOID. I attended all bar one on the 18th of January for my birthday celebrations. Payments were payed in full via cash with one transaction via card. As this was my birthday I was unaware until after paying £230.00 on my card that the cash payments were already paid. When receiving the receipt only three transactions for card payments were shown with no transactions of cash payments... There were 10 guests that attended. I believe the cash payments were not accounted for. I sent an email of complaint and had a prompt phone call that after viewing the CCTV the cash was given back to me after my card transactions. This was completely incorrect and I explained it would be a police matter. I am concerned as to why the same gentleman that served our party and took the payments was the same gentleman dealing with my complaint.... I believe this was to cover up what had happened. I contacted the head office today and they were completely unaware of this complaint or what had happened. The relevant bodies are now looking into this further.
