Creams Cafe — Restaurant in Nottingham

Just a follow up on the review I posted 2 weeks ago, I STILL haven't had a response to my complaint.... We visited Creams in Nottingham this evening for my 10yr old daughters birthday. This is the first time we have visited and I left extremely disappointed.

We placed our order at the till, ordering 4 sundaes and a cookie dough. After around 5 minutes, the cookie dough arrived to the table with no sign of any of the other deserts we ordered. Then a group of 4 people entered the store, along with a uber eats driver, these people were served and we were still waiting for the rest of our order (there were 3 members of staff in the store).

After almost 20 minutes, we went to the till to find out where the rest of our order was, by this time the cookie dough was finished, so one person had finished their meal and the rest of us were still waiting.

We were told it would be 3-4 minutes for the rest of our order, after another 5 minutes, we saw the staff member start to make the rest of our order (we were sat in front of the ice cream chiller).

It took almost half an hour for our full order to arrive, we don't understand why the hot dessert came out so quickly, yet the sundaes took almost half an hour when it was just ice cream in a bowl, we also recieved no apology for the wait, but the restaurant was not busy,wl with most of the sit in customers already having their orders when we arrived.

I left extremely disappointed, this was a birthday treat for my daughter and we spent almost £50 in the store and left...

Soft swirl sundae tasted like a Mcfluffy, tasted very "fake".

Was claiming the free Soft Swirl for both me and my partner. We downloaded the app and this is the current freebie there. Both of us had the voucher on our accounts, I followed the instructions but when I got to the checkout on my phone the loyalty freebie had disappeared. I showed them this along with my partners phone and explained that I was about to order.

Both members of staff said "I must have been before and claimed it" I said 3 times that I have never been to a Creams Cafe before and that there isn't one in my local town... Again they said I must have been before and this isn't my first time going,

They then said I could have a free sundae If I left them a review on Google or tripadvsitor... So still they didn't believe me.

I was sat waiting for the order to come along and when it arrived I showed them my history on the app which shows when I signed up to the app, when I got the loyalty free sundae and it showed no outgoing purchases/claims etc.... Still they didn't believe me and said that this sundae was on the house and to take it as a treat from them for doing a review "he proceeded to put the review link in front of me".

As soon as the app wasn't working I should have took it as a sign as it wasn't great anyway.

Why would u go through all that time just to get a freebie??? Even without the above I would have given it a 1 star for the sundae and so...

Me and my partner visited tonight and got bad vibes from walking in. There didn't seem to be a front of house, but a man greeting us from behind the counter telling us to sit down and order at the counter. Which was rude from the get go. We placed our order on the app and it came rather quickly. But our milkshakes were wrong - we ordered flavours but one scoop of mine was in my partners and visa versa, and the server didn't even bother to tell us which milk shake was which and when I went to ask, she spoke to me like I was stupid. But it was wrong anyway 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Then the crepe machine was broken, so when one of us ordered a crepe we were offered something else, but why wasn't that something the staff members told us? So we had a waffle instead. Which was very gooey and just not very waffle-like at all, very dissapointing. Also, my partner had cookie dough which was rubbish and more like a cookie than soft and what you would expect it to be like. The toilets were broken, and dirty. They didn't look like the staff had attended to them, and judging by the clean sheet that they normally have to sign on the door, they hadn't been attended too.

Overall don't rate this establishment anymore, and it's not what I remember from coming here with my mates as a teenager, it was very...
