I really hate giving bad reviews but disappointed with the service today. We got welcomed in as a walk-in which we really appreciate as we understand things can get busy, however we were left sat waiting for over 10 minutes to get a menu. Within this time we saw multiple other customers enter and get given menus as they got seated. We quickly got our food ordered (2 freakshakes and 2 full pantry brunches). The freakshakes arrived around 10 minutes later, however a bit droped on the floor. it started chucking it down with rain. As we were not under the shelter we got wet but was not offered umbrellas or any other shelter. All staff waited till rain stopped to step outside which was a recurring pattern as they didn't want to get wet. Our food came when it stopped raining, it wasn't the greatest and honestly not worth the price.

We ate within 5 mins and then sat there waiting for a checkback (which did not happen) or bill for over 30 minutes. Within this we saw staff members staying inside majority either sitting down or on their phones despite us and other people arriving waiting to be seated (free seats available) or waiting for their food to be taken and bill to be given too. We saw multiple people who were waiting to be seated walk out as they waited for so long. The table in front of us was vaccent for half an hour at least and was still not clean from the last people who ate.

We finally got our bill, only after it started to rain again and when paying the server was inpatient and kept covering his head with his notebook despite it only spitting with rain. Honestly quite disappointed, I understand bad weather cannot be helped but it should not influence the quality of service from...

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Pudding Pantry in Nottingham, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff were courteous, personable, and highly professional, ensuring we were seated almost immediately despite the busy lunch rush. Their ability to balance a bustling restaurant while maintaining attentive, yet unobtrusive service was truly commendable.

Now, onto the food—simply divine! I ordered the buttermilk chicken pancakes with Sriracha maple syrup, and every bite was a perfect balance of crispy, tender, sweet, and spicy. The Sriracha maple syrup was an absolute standout adding to the already delicious flavours pancakes and chicken, so much so that I’ll be ordering extra next time! To accompany my meal, I had the mixed berry and hibiscus tea, which was delightfully fragrant, fruity and refreshing.

Beyond the exceptional meals, Pudding Pantry also offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods, perfect for enjoying in-house or taking away as a snack or sweet treat. From decadent brownies and cakes to flaky pastries, everything looked absolutely irresistible—I’ll definitely be picking up some goodies on my next visit!

The entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal or a quick coffee and treat. The team at Pudding Pantry went above and beyond, ensuring every guest had a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon—highly...

The Pudding Pantry is a little gem slightly hidden from the main Trinity Square area by being down a connecting leg towards TK Max. However, search for it because the food is fantastic. The setting is wonderful with the feel of an old fashioned eatery with outdoor as well as indoor seating, and attentive but not over bearing staff but the real star is the food. I had the Pantry breakfast & what a feast - country sausage, streaky bacon, eggs your way (I had scrambled), on-vine roasted tomatoes, garlic mushrooms, home made beans and 2 fluffy, delicious American style pancakes with warm, runny maple syrup. I added a side of toast which is available in 3 flavours. What a feast! For the eyes as well as the stomach & I can confirm that it tasted as good as it looked. One small thing that really made my meal - the salt and pepper pots were not pots but little grinders - really easy to use & just fitted with the whole easy atmosphere of the place. My dining companions each had 4 pancakes with accompaniments and confirmed that these were the best pancakes they'd ever tasted. We have only scratched the surface of the menu. With artisan coffee and lots of options this is a place we will be coming back to. It's not a huge place so you may have to wait a short time for a table, but the wait is worth it. Service is quick and efficient, but also very friendly. Put it on your list of places to visit in Nottingham and I doubt you'll be...

Met up with friends for a catch up and luckily I decided to get a table with my kids beforehand as it’s not possible to book for less than six people. We queued outside and then inside for about 40 minutes. We were seated next to the door which I said was fine if they could close the door, which he did. However, a better table became available and the manager, Lee, asked if we would like to move, which we did. The staff were very nice, especially Lee, even though it was busy. I had the chorizo and halloumi hash which was delicious; the poached eggs were perfect. I also had a jammie dodger blonde which was sweet and filling and two excellent pots of tea. It’s not the cheapest place but for city centre location and quality, I think the prices were fair. I dropped a star as it would have been nice to have booked and avoided queuing outside, but I would definitely go again at a quieter time.

We were greeted and sat immediately. The waitress who took our order couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating - especially as I tend to make a few changes to my order. All options were clearly described to us. The food itself was a beautiful temperature and arrived promptly. The baked beans are tomato puree based and quite an acquired taste. The rest is as expected and really tasteful. Full marks here. You're then left in peace until you're ready to pay. It is worth noting you'll have to grab their attention, they won't approach you with a bill. Actually a nice touch. This is purely personal and not a reflection of the establishment however it was a little loud in there for me - but Saturday afternoon, what do you expect? Shows they're busy. :-) Overall, brilliant experience. Really nice place.
