Vibe With Coffee — Restaurant in Nottingham

Competition grade coffee brought forward with passion through innovative brewing methods. Must visit for any coffee geek. Coffees include CGLE, Janson, Gesha Village.

Vibe with is an independent roastery with experienced people at the helm, they roast their own world-class greens, and follow through with care in brewing.

Espresso is pulled through a couple of Decent Espresso machines, which allow for easy tuning of pressure profiles for each coffee, as well as access to a database of profiles submitted by other users.

Filter is either brewed through an Aeropress or Orea, which they have specified recipes to bring out the best of each of their coffees. A Janson, Gesha Village, and CGLE lot was bring served during my visit.

Last I went, they were using frozen steel balls for both espresso and filter, which traps the volatile compounds post brewing within the cup, leaving a more flavourful sip. This method was brought to attention by Sasa Sestic, a prior World Barista Champion, when he competed this year in the World Brewer's Cup.

The owners are clearly up to date with the latest ongoings in the competitive coffee scene and it shows in the coffee that they roast and brew.

The café has an understated vibe with a dark toned interior, featuring various coffee machines and roasting equipment. The space isn’t big, but it’s cozy and comfortable, a great spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee.

[Orange 3 Layers Cake] Refreshing orange flavor with distinct layers. The top jelly wasn’t overly gelatinous and had a nice hint of yuzu. The sponge cake was soft and fluffy!

[Distill Milk Dirty] Hot espresso meets cold milk, a pleasant surprise. The espresso had a slight bitterness but was light and smooth, while the cold milk added depth. Great balance and texture. A memorable cup that shows their pour over coffee game is strong.

[Matcha Latte] Visually appealing and beautifully presented. Made with high quality matcha, the taste was nicely balanced between bitterness and creaminess.

[Matcha Basque Cheesecake] One of their signature desserts, rich matcha flavor without being too bitter. The cheesecake was creamy, smooth, and melted in the mouth. Not too heavy, even if you eat the whole slice by yourself. High quality and definitely...

Visited them with my family in their new location. Tried 2 cakes, 2 coffees, and 2 onigiri sashimi. Even my partner said that everything was absolutely top-notch!

Must visit for a coffee person in Notts. Top quality service and coffees. Their new place is designed for interaction between custommer and barrista, which makes it even better if you are into speciality coffee enthusiast.
