Tough to score this one.
Staff lovely and food lovely, but given this rating as I make an effort to sit in a cafe so that I can support local business and the highstreet, but I don't want to impact more than needed on the environment. So yes, when I sit down, I expect washable cups and plates.
I was really disappointed to find it all comes in disposable paper plates and cups. It's really detracts from the good food and nice staff.
As I hadn't expected this I also didn't give my travel mug over until the last minute. They did make it in that but I felt like it was pure luck that I was quick enough.
Sadly when we said how we felt about it the reason they use this disposable stuff is for thier convenience but that's not good enough with so much environmental awareness now.
We won't go back. Please understand this rating is due to me being unable to enjoy food with a side order of guilt. It would be easily sorted with changing to washable crockery.
There also is no toilet which is odd in a place you eat and drink. We would have been fine with this but it just added to the disappointment about the lack of care for the environment.

Coffee doesnât taste the same and itâs difficult to eat the pastry in a take away box with a wooden fork that also gives a bad taste.
