Really great breakfast, I've eaten in almost every place in Plymouth City Center that serves an English breakfast over the years and this is one of the best. It was only £7 for the breakfast plus £1.50 for a drink which in my opinion was great value as the the sausages were really nice, as was the bacon and it's hard to fund a decent hash brown but these ones were up to scratch. The only fault, if you wanna call it that was that the beans were cold, not an issue as I obviously still ate them, but that's the only thing I'd say, probably an oversight as it was so busy there today. We did end up with a portion of chips for free as they brought them to the wrong table, I did tell them but they said to have them anyway. We'll definitely be back, just a shame it's taken me this long to go in the place as I walk past it most days. Would definitely recommend the breakfast here (they sell other food too but can't comment as not tried it, yet!) The staff were super friendly too which is a plus.

Edit: There seems to be a new family that have literally taken uo residence in this place. The parent just sits there ALL DAY while she let's her 3 years old child child run around and bother every single customer. The child helps herself to food off of your plate, has spilt a drink on us and constantly bothers my 3 children to the point they start crying! The child had a viral infection too which the mother knew about as she was the one that said about it and my child was subsequently hospitalised 3 days later because of the viral infection that was passed on to my child. AVOID this place like the plague if you value your children's...

Went there today to get a spot of lunch.

Ordered 2 full house burgers that were supposed to come with chicken, but didn't. Also ordered an Americano with warm milk only for the coffee to arrive with no milk.Asked the older waitress if she could get some for me and got a "yeah no worries".15/20 minutes later about 4 customers were served and still no milk arrived so drunk it black. Such a pity as food was lovely.

Also distracted by a middle aged woman across on another table shouting at a relative of hers who obviously had alzeheimers or dementia as she didn't know what day it was to which she thought the best way to deal with her was to shout "what day is it today, it's not that hard is it?? "If you can't look after yourself they'll have to get someone in to look after you"

Don't get a job as a carer love🙄,this has nothing to do with the staff, won't be...

I was very impressed by the burger from this place, I had the house burger with a pint of lager and it was really nice.

I like the fact that they cook it fresh for you when you order so even though it means it might take a little bit longer than fast food places like MaccyD, it's definitely fresh and having a pint helps!

It's got a lovely outdoor space where you can sit with friends and eat your food or drink your drink, beware of seagulls though! They are vicious in this area and are willing to dive bomb you to steal your toast!

The waiting staff were really friendly and working very hard to make sure everyone was sorted ok and that all the food was cleared off the table after people leave so they were not raided by the seagulls

Definitely going to use this place as a lunch stop when I'm in Plymouth town...

Whether you want a full blown meal or a small bite to eat The Pig has it covered. Hot drinks, cold drinks, alcohol , milkshakes all under one roof. Ample seating inside and out with toilets situated upstairs with a disabled toilet downstairs. The upstairs is open all day aswell with a pool table for everyones use aswell as being able to eat and drink upstairs too. Also this floor of The Pig is available to hire for parties, functions with two fully licensed bars on the premises you can't go wrong. Friendly staff always willing yo bring your order to your table. Music playing quietly in the background is great with a TV on showing the news with subtitles so you can keep up to date with the days news as it happens. A lovely place , friendly and warming. Definitely recommend you to pop in.
