Finally I ventured inside after plucking up the courage to do something alien to me. So what did I think? Well I was nervous as it was a new place with new people and I felt a bit out of place but when I got to the counter I was greeted by a lovely smile by the staff member which put me at ease. I had viewed the menu previously so knew I was going to order the bread and butter pudding (solo) and an americano coffee. It was very reasonably priced too at just over £7 and I took my seat in the corner near the door. So was it worth it? Although the bread and butter pudding was different to what I remember from my younger years it was very tasty and was offered with either ice cream, custard or clotted cream which I declined. The coffee was a standard coffee to me and wasn't anything to write home about. The best part for me about my visit was the welcoming staff, relaxed atmosphere and cool decor with 12" vinyls covering the walls going up the stairs and lots of vintage items like tvs which are all provided to help customers who are experiencing memory issues. Overall I'm glad I overcame my cowardice to pop in and I'm sure it won't be the only time.

Visited Moments Café located in middle of Plymouth City Centre, with 2 floors accessible to both wheelchair users & customers with pushchairs; front entrance with automatic double doors & lift available on left hand side. Ground floor tastefully decorated with 50's, 60's & 70's memorabilia & 1st floor with 80's, promoting great conversation. Café has good range of hot/cold beverages & meals at reasonable costs, including vegan, vegetarian & gluten free options. All items locally sourced within Devon/Cornwall & profits donated to Memory Matters. Whatever age, young or old, there's something for everyone. A gem of a Café, serving delicious food by friendly staff, in a well kept & clean setting, highly recommend. This Café is no ordinary Café & offers so much more. Having had relative in family suffering Alzheimer's/vascular dementia, it's wonderful that Moments Café are dedicated to such charities as Memory Matters, as well as encouraging customers to purchase a meal & or beverage that can be donated via vouchers for those less fortunate - an excellent scheme.

Today I ordered cream tea - a fruit scone and a small cup of latte. Firstly the price is reasonable. The portion and taste is perfect for one. The taste and texture of their homemade fruit scone with fluffy cream is delightful. The latte is good. Looking for nice and relaxing cafe to hide away from the vibrant city Plymouth, this place shouldn’t be missed. Also, the staffs are all pleasant and polite. I’ll them 5/5. Looking to try some more of their homemade bakery.

Had a omelette and coffee brilliant prices. The staff go out of there way to be friendly to you and are super efficient. I will defo be coming here again beats the rest hands down. Love the choice of music by the way mone of this rubbish from today. Once again the right balance in every way a definite hit on your hands. Don't know why i didn't see you sooner. However I've been here on a few occasions since and I would Like to add that I think the Food has gone down hill I had a breakfast it had a raw sausage when I had a quiet word as I didn't want to make a scene I was spoken to very rudely by the chef with the glasses. There have been a few occasions where the food has been a bit questionable of late. I also observed that there was 1 girl running around doing all the work when the others were standing around the counter giggling doing nothing when tables and and floors needed cleaning. When you having a restaurant there's always something to be done. I have noticed when the younge staff are present they haven't got the same attitude as...
