We have been to this restaurant quite a few times, the food, as always was perfect unfortunately the service last night was not. It was very quiet and we were shown to a table as soon as we walked in. A waitress came to take our drink order, I asked if Budvar was a beer or lager, instead of saying I don't know but can find out, she looked at me, I think feeling awkward because she didn't know, I chose something else! The food, as always, was perfect but nobody came to our table once we were given our food to ask if everything was okay or if we would like another drink or anything else, which is something that has always happened before. I also didn't hear the table next to us being asked this either. In the end, we just went over to the bar and paid for our food, really disappointed as we've always had a lovely all round experience previously.

Wasn’t immediately welcomed as waitress on her phone and talking to another, although didn’t realise she was a waitress as no sign of uniform or apron. Led to an inner table but I asked for one nearer the view of harbour which she was happy to do.. Table was grubby, I mentioned it, waitress went off to get cleaner, then put serviette and cutlery down on a wet table, 🤔went off to get a cloth to dry it. then seemed to have a negative conversation with another staff member, maybe about the table, hope it wasn’t about me.. He came to take order, after she indicated towards me.. the meal arrived as shown.. chips were pale and uneven sizes, so irregular cooking results, batter a little thick for my liking so left most of it.. cleaning fluid bottle left on another table .. bill was £15.. probably won’t go back.. didn’t get the ‘vibe’

I recently came here with my Fiancé for our anniversary and had a lovely meal! The atmosphere is gorgeous and it was lovely and warm, and we had come in from the rain so really appreciated it. The view of the port was amazing as well. The staff were very quick and attentive to our needs. We had some starters (halloumi fries and white bait) and they were incredible. Delicious and generous portion sizes.b For mains, we had the fish tacos and Holy moly, they were incredible. Not too spicy, flavoursome and a perfect portion. The only issue we had was that we were sat by a door so when people did come in it was a rush of cold air. Luckily it only happened once or twice, but wasn't enough to knock a star off.

10/10 would return. I had battered haddock for supper and it was amazing. The portion is very generous. As a 165lb / 75kg person I entered the restaurant starving and left full. Neither the fish nor the chips are too oily. The haddock was fresh, soft and steamy hot. Residing next to the water, you can get a beautiful window view of the boats. The servers were very friendly and initiates small talk (remember to tip them). The fitting is nice and the bathroom stalls are surprisingly clean. The only set back is the price. My meal plus coke cost £16 so this is not the best place for broke college students like me. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely place, we went on a Saturday night , expected it to be busy. We were seated and told we will be given a menu , after waiting for a while we had to ask for one ourselves however, food was delicious fish was fresh and grilled which as tasty but an hour long wait until it arrived. For people who require halal food food is limited to grilled as there is no choice of fried fish ( chips are friend separately) that wasn’t fried in same oil as other meats . You have to also double check the food isn’t cooked in wine as some options are made with wine but you can request it without . Over all nice experience and service during our stay was friendly and helpful .

First time visiting and not disappointed. The location is amazing with great views over the harbour. Brought back childhood memories as this used to be Plymouth fish market. We visited for lunch and it was vibrant but not too busy and there was no wait to be seated. Staff were excellent and very friendly. We had 3 in total during are meal and all were top notch 👍 Service was fast, the food excellent and really tasty and portions were good. The kitchen is visible from the table which was nice. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails too, the local cider was excellent. This was a great treat on our holiday and highly recommend 😁
