Trust me, I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Jasmine tea runs through my veins. My spirit is lifted by the smell of steaming bamboo. I am one with har gau. This place is good. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the char siu bao filling. The bao itself, light as a heavenly cloud, delicious and fluffy. The filing, however left a lot to be desired. But on a cold rainy Sunday morning when my heart aches for the chaos of Hong Kong this is where I will go to soothe my yearning heart.

Reasonably priced dim sum. Great dim sum menu and a la carte is available. We booked a table for 12.30 pm on Sunday lunchtime. Get there early to sit at the large table by the window. You will need it if you are trying many dishes from the menu. There is such a wide choice we missed quite a few dishes but did receive many top ups to our pot of jasmine tea. I would recommend this restuarant for the variety of dim sum and it his half the price of a restaurant in China Town in London.

I love Dim Sum not many places do it nowadays the dim sum hut is well worth a visit tasty food great prices and service first visit was yesterday with my 3 daughters it won’t be my last seafood noodles chilli squid paper wrapped prawns all really good my kids are keen to go again so I am a great find that will be a regular weekend lunch now

A really nice place for Chinese food, with good variety of selections. Better to book a table in advance specially during lunch time when it is expected to be a bit busy. Had a bit of an issue with my sweet and sour king prawns but was quickly rectified by the staff. Enjoyed the ambiance and food overall.

Amazing food. Staff are very welcoming and the menu is extensive and packed full of dim sum favourites as well as many other Chinese dishes. I recommend all of the steamed and friends dim sum, the Cheung fun and also the dry fried ho fun with beef. Prices are very reasonable.

Good variety of dishes on menu, tasty and probably one of the a few good ones you could find in the area. Though if you can travel a bit, There’re better ones in places like Fareham and Southampton, and many much better Chinese Restaurants in London Chinatown.
