I was in a party of 5 people and we are all lovers of Indian food, 2 are British from Indian families, but still foodies. Two had visited multiple times. This was my first visit.
Overall the menu was not overly extensive with hundreds of options, it was boardering on sparse, but with key dishes for the major categories. We shared the Poppadoms and dips, which was good. We ordered an Indian beer to accompany the meal. We each ordered a different main, then some side dishes to share.
The first thing that strut me was the large portion sizes, the prices weren't cheap but that was a bonus. We were able to share the mains and the side dishes, which made the experience among friends very pleasant. Overall the meals were on the peppery š¶ļø side, we did not order butter chicken. I did not know that Chilli Naans existed!!!
The waiting staff were available but did not hover. The meals were available in good time, and the bill was also presented promptly when requested. We shared the bill and bid the staff a good night. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was very nice,no complaints at all.But the 2 star is because of the service.I had a reservation at 7.30 on my husband's birthday. We got a rude call at 7.20 pm from the hotel asking if we are coming or should they cancel our reservation as they have people waiting. We were just round the corner. When we reached the not so pleasant gentlemen who was serving at the bar seated us at a table that was exactly 5 feet away from the door and near the toilet entrance. WE LITERALLY DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE INSIDE OF THE HOTEL. It was like we came ,ate near the door (toilet) and left. Felt total cast away.We had mentioned we have a 6 month old baby yet got the pleasure of eating by the door, everytime someone opened the door my baby was exposed to the cold air no matter what we did to prevent it.We weren't greeted, neither when we came nor when we left.Seems the staff was only interested in pleasing the locals. It doesn't matter if your food tastes divine,if you treat people this way you don't have my respect. Never stepping foot...
