We booked the restaurant last minute online as we stayed nearby with two young kids. When we arrived, the waiter didn't seem to know about our booking, but did have a table available. We were offered menus and our orders were served quickly. The food was good for the price and service was generally good and we were given boxes for the kids leftovers. Off looking past the decor, I would have given it an 8 /10, however not long before we were leaving, the manager (or owner) had a guy in to check out their fire alarm system and decided to switch it on, which he did not warn us about and one of our kids were especially affected by such a loud noise, for future reference, please advise your customers of such a test! If you're looking for a quick and reasonably priced meal, this works well and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Wife and I in Glasgow for a couple of nights including a theatre booking which required us to eat early. By chance noticed, and booked, a special '2 Course Deal' advertised by the Palomino. As a 'Special Deal' we were expecting a restricted menu but having received a warm welcome were offered a free choice of starter and main from the A La Carte dinner menu. For starter my wife had chicken Wings and I had Calamari, for mains it was Chicken Enchiladas and Pasta Pescatore all excellent and generous helpings and washed down with a very nice and reasonably priced house red wine. We will certainly go back when in Glasgow again. Thanks to the staff for an very pleasant pre show meal.

Amazing food and even better drinks. I would highly recommend this place. The food is really good, specifically the Palomino Special Burger and the fries. The mango margarita is very refreshing and soothing. Must pair with food. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming

Never been before and wouldn't go back. Liked the music and that was about it. Told the waiter about my allergies - egg and dairy- so asked if I could have the bruschetta. He said he'd need to double check so I asked about the tomato soup and he's said that would definitely be fine so I said I'd have the soup instead of the bruschetta. I asked for the chicken enchiladas specifically without the cheese, guacamole and sour cream, and he agreed I could have salsa instead. My starter came and it was the bruschetta instead of soup but I assumed he'd maybe got confused and has asked about the allergies so I ate it. I couldn't manage much of the tomato as it was the saltiest thing I've ever eaten (I got my friend to try it too and she couldn't believe how salty it was). I've never noticed bruschetta to be salty before, it's usually slightly sweet or vinegary if anything. Next my chicken enchiladas came covered in cheese, with sour cream and guacamole on the side. I explained again that I can't have egg and dairy and I would be sick. He took it away and came back with the same enchilada covered in cheese but had swapped the sour cream for salsa, it was a little ridiculous. Finally got a fresh enchilada with supposedly no dairy and had about a third when I started reacting in my throat and tongue. I didn't have enough to make me sick as thankfully I get symptoms quite quickly. When I tried to explain to him it obviously had dairy in it somewhere whether it had been cooked or fried in butter or something and he insisted it hadn't. Yet when he went back into the kitchen he yelled at someone in there which was quite awkward. Pity, as my friends like the place and the wine was nice but it is very disheartening when people don't listen or write down when you mention allergies. Maybe I need to put my epi pen on the table for waiters to take it seriously. I got £5 off but it doesn't really make up for the mistakes and bad taste, or that I could have spent the next few hours throwing up in their toilet if I had eaten the...

We had booked a Groupon deal for two before going to the king's up the road. We booked the table for 5.30 which is usually enough time for 2 courses however tables that arrived after us were served first, we waited a while to be served. It took a good 30mins after being served to get out drinks. Our order was similar to customers seated beside and they got mixed up, this was blamed on a member of staff who wasn't even serving tables on that side of the restaurant and probably weren't informed. This was visible to customers how staff delt with the situation. We eventually got our main meal after ten past 7 having explained that we have to be at the show for half past. I had to ask 2 members of staff for a glass of water which eventually came and when we got our bill the voucher was not deducted. I understand that they may have been short staffed but customer service and manner could have been better. Samantha who wasn't serving our table however made a point to introduce herself and was helpful and apologetic, she moved my friend jacket to avoid getting dirty and was pleasant and chatting in the little interactions we had. The same cannot be said for...

First time here today after receiving a voucher for 3 course meal from daughter. Unfortunately we will not be returning. First impressions.. the place could do with a thorough deep clean. Visible dust on the top of the banquette seats at the front of the restaurant, sticky menus and tabletops. Starters - ham and mozzarella croquettes were cold inside (surprising as we assume they were freshly prepared out of a fryer), then there was the bone we found in the chicken liver pate. The toast for the pate serving was also minuscule. Mains - Pork chop dish was fine, except for the very artificial tasting onion gravy. Chicken supreme was very small. The mash potato was microwave potato which actually contained hard parts from being heated without being stirred. However the red pepper sauce was lovely. Dessert - we both opted for the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. One portion was warm, the other however didn't even get waved at the microwave.. stone cold. The restaurant in general was very cold, and we didn't even want to brave the bathrooms.

Extremely disappointing and not...
