Denholm's Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

I don't want to leave this review because Denholms is by far the best karaoke pub in Glasgow, miles ahead of the Horseshoe in my opinion – but, sadly, here comes the 'but'. In the past year the price of a pint has rocketed, and in the past few weeks the price of a pint of Tennent's from Wednesday onwards has jumped 50p from £4.20 to 4.70, which is not far off what you'd pay for a pint in central London. My wife and I come here a couple of times a year usually before or after a gig in the city. We enjoy the busy, cozy atmosphere at weekends that definitely harks back to the 90s with occasional karaoke of live singers and the clientele are usually over 30s. Good beer and varied selection of spirits, local staff with great chat and quick service too. The toilets are down a flight of stairs which may cause some people issues but not unusual in the area.
