Went to grant arms today Thursday Intended to stay for a pint before I caught my train. Enjoyed it so much I stayed for about 5 hours had food played bingo and listened to fantastic singing from resident singer plus a bit of karaoke. This is how pubs need to get back to. I can't fault any part of it . I used to run some of the biggest nightclubs in England and Wales and know how hard it is to get this right. Read moreBar staff was rude, and regulars was very cheeky to me ,just because I have an unseen disability they were shocked when I heard them talking about me , so I gave back as good as I got . There was people outside smashing bottles, which was kind of scary as I was a lone traveler . However they do have an amazing karaoke compare ,who is a marvelous singer , and does it did bingo Nights in that pub . I don't know if he still works there , the customers standing at bar as well as the bar staff don't seem to like new customers .
