Wanted to take a friend and my mum and step dad for a nice lunch and a friend recommend this pub and we where not disappointed the staff are Really friendly the pub has really good atmosphere and the food omg the food is like 5 star quality we like it that much we are going back for my birthday lunch/dinner in April but we will probably be back long before that as for the prices will they are the cheapest I have seen for a pub in the city centre so close to the central station I mean we got 2 rounds of drink 2 Irn bru cans, a cranberry juice and a vodka and cola plus 2 Southern fried wraps with chips and two mac n cheese from the popular menu and 2 chocolate brownies, sticky toffee pudding and a risky road sunade all for £60 that's £15 a head for lunch, desert and not one but two drinks Best value I have seen In a while best pub lunch I have had in a while You can also charge your phone at the table which is a bonus

I was having a bit of a solo day in town, having a pint in a pub, then moving on. I thought I was popping down to the goose. That shows how long it's been since I was in here. Turns out that it is now an O'Niells, same as the one out in Merchant City. While i was seated in a little hidden corner (see my pic), I Have to say that I really liked the place and so stuck around longer than I had planned. I can't rate the food here because I was only In for drinks, but it looks like the same menu as the Lauders which I already gave 5 stars (didn't realise they were linked) but they had my favourite beer, Punk IPA and huge selection of others and they had live football on A LOT of screens. At 9pm they put a DJ on who was playing mostly mid 90's to Mid 00's tunes which was AMAZING and gains a star for my 38 year old ears. Especially on a Saturday night when everyone else is catering to the wee dafties. I WILL BE BACK!!

Located outside of Glasgow's Central Station is O'Neils, an Irish pub that serves burger dishes, pizzas, mixed grills and light bites and sharer meals. The pub is decorated accordingly and had televisions on showing the England game when we visited, although to start with the volume was a little loud. The food was excellent although some menu items were not available which was a little disappointing. The food ordered (burger) was nicely cooked and was very fresh and hot. The gentleman who served us was very friendly which was a nice refreshing change and added to the experience. The dessert was a big portion and certainly finnished off the nice meal. Overall I would reconmend this pub, but the availability of some menu items did spoil it a little.

Used the darts service. Want to note I have been to oneills 4 times before this in total and have had no issues using MY darts on the boards, shown by staff how to use the magnetiser etc which was fine. Upon this visit the staff member had said to us she wasn’t sure about us using our own darts which was confusing as above I was always used to. That was fine and after some discussion we were shown to board, the manager then came over and told us we couldn’t use our own darts going forward and it was in the policy to use the provided darts which is fine, no issues but to be honest it affects my decision to come back as someone who is getting into darts want to experiment my own. Understand the policy and have seen on the bookings it states we can’t use our darts. The problem I have is why has it taken to the 5th time I’ve been here for that to be said, the whole of the staff clearly need to be briefed on it, as I’m sure the manager would agree it’s very misleading from the staff to allow me to use my darts even though you point to the policy. It’s contradictory to be honest,...

Absolutely one of the worst managed places we,ve been to. We decided to, with our friends, have a meal and drink on Friday 4 Nov. Browsed the menu, ordered our drinks and ordered our meals. Waited about 20 minutes and the first 2 plates arrived for our friends. They got tucked in and we waited, and waited, and waited.!!!Eventually after about 20 minutes I enquired as to when our food may arrive. Replying "I will check for you". Another 10 minutes elapsed and our friends had finished their meal we were informed of a problem in the kitchen and we will have to wait for 20/40 minutes. Not acceptable and asked for a refund. I can give you a refund he said but will charge you for the 2 pints and the bowl of spiced chips starter you had. No apology or sign of goodwill. Peter Parker I think his name was. In need of some serious management retraining. According to our friends the food was below average as well. A...
