Nice bar but I unfortunately had a bad experience. We ordered checked wings and chips, the wings came out burned and the chips where undercooked, the service was good bar staff where nice but the chef definitely needs to do his/her job better because we will never eat here again and will be telling our friends about it, it is a waist of money to eat here.

Great venue, we are an older generation but made welcome by the bar staff. Great service it is a students haunt but great atmosphere. unfortunately, this was marred by the arrival of the manager who was abrupt and rude and created a situation at the far end of the bar. No need for his manner whatsoever

A decent pub near the city centre. Was pretty quiet during the times we went in, plenty of seats available. The staff are all very friendly. Decent prices for the drinks & food available. Would recommend if you're looking for a quiet pub space & for watching sports! 👍 👍

Lots of big TV's to watch the six nations, advertising for which games they were planning on showing for the football as well.

Decent selection of drinks. Shame they'd run out of the hunters chicken pie as it sounded pretty awesome. Had the three ways chicken burger instead which was pretty great actually, not a great amount of chips to go with it though and the tables were definitely squint so I had mine on my lap, which ended up working out not so bad with the burger, but not sure how I would have managed with the pie.

My partner had the steak pie which he said was lovely but it was too small a piece really, it barely wet his appetite.

Overall would go here again but would be making sure we're ordering early for everyone to get the food they would...

The staff are amazing! Especially the 2 staff members who made secret plans with my family members to bring out a birthday cake during my birthday lunch! 🎂 🤣 I think they were called Adam and Amy and they were absolutely lovely. It was a nice, chill environment for a small lunch, I didn't want anything big for my birthday so it was perfect. Love the jukebox. Unfortunately, the food at the Nether does let it down as many items on the menu were out of stock and the food itself was mediocre at best, it didn't match up with quality of the well made cocktails and fantastic customer service. Thank you for a memorable day. The Nether has always been a favourite of mine for the past 10 years and will...

The staff was very unkind, seemed bothered by any questions. We ordered the food and asked for it to be put in a take away because we had a train to catch, and they told us that it was possible and that it'd only take a couple of minutes. After a long wait, the food was burnt and one of the waitress was all the way snarky and unprofessional telling us "we don't do take away, I don't know what you're going to do" (when the whole reason why we ordered in the first place is because they told us they do). Very unpleasant time, wouldn't recommend, McDonald's is a...
