Arrived to find we had to book the order through Deliveroo. Fair enough, so placed order at the same time as another couple of people who arrived at the same time. Deliveroo App informs us we have to wait 10 minutes. Ok, seemed busy with Deliveroo drivers coming and going. A further two groups of customers arrive and order through the App. 10 minutes later my daughter goes in and informs the staff we are waiting on our order, (she is informed they are a wee bit behind). Couple that arrived with us are served and depart. Five minutes later I go in and I am informed they are busy and have run out of chicken. All Deliveroo drivers served plus one of the groups that arrived after us now gone. 5 minutes later, patience gone by now, I ask what has happened to our order and I notice the second group that arrived after us are being served. Fuming by now I also notice a member of staff, possibly a "manager", is leaving and so he is being served food and chatting with the staff. I come to the conclusion this can't be a "manager" as managing anything isn't in the capabilities of the staff present. I ask again what they, the staff that are suppose d to be serving people are doing, and I am informed it is my daughters fault as she only came in ten minutes previously to tell them we were outside waiting on our order and they don't actually start preparing the food until we tell them we are waiting. Strange way of operating, so Deliveroo App says order will be ready in 10 minutes at which point we are instructed to tell the Wee Mexico staff we are here to pick up our order. Only then will Wee Mexico staff start to prepare our order. Then I was told the App didn't work correctly all the time. I had to leave the shop several times as these weak excuses from chatterbox uninterested staff were testing my patience, temper and will not to swear. After over 30 minutes after the shop was completely empty apart from the "serving staff". Our order was given to us outside the shop. Personally I think the "servers" decided that my daughter could wait until they served other older customers. Only when I introduced myself did they show any sign of trying to remedy the situation. So Wee Mexico your excuses ran as follows, "it's busy, the chicken has run out, the Deliveroo App doesn't work, it's my daughters fault". Read moreFirst time hitting this wee spot in Dundee. Right next to the old Groucho's and Nether Inn so a spot everyone and their Grannie would know and nice central spot. For a first time small take away order. It was a bit confusing being told to back track to the door where a screen that looks like a POS system is set to DiY your order and pay for, to await collection. Would have been faster and more suitable to order at the counter. Went for a very basic what they call Stacker Taco, 3 soft shell. This consisted of Beef chilli, a layer of cheese and half filled lettuce. I'd have thought as there wasn't any option on the tacos to add toppings that it would be asked in building but no. A side pot of Nacho cheese was bought as a unsure back up(much needed. (Only half full small pot ? Sadly) Other side options were. Sour cream, jalapenos, guac, salsa. I didn't go for any of these due to add.cost And a can of Pepsi Max. Cans seem to be the target beverage.
Not sure if it's the same way. Drinks. Side pots etc in the upstairs area for sit-in customers. Though I'd imagine it is.

Service was quick, which as long as things are fresh/hot them that's an upside. Food was fresh for what little I ordered. It was a quick lunch after all. It would have been nice to have better option to what the taco involved 🌮 Ordering was a little awkward particularly as a first time or if a large group came in. I understand the concept. Service once ordered/paid was quick.
All in all. Food nice for what it was, price a little more expensive than I'd have expected, service a bit awkward. Likely hood I'd return, Probably at some point to try a burrito. Though won't be in any time soon. With Taco Bell. Feel this is a spot that will feel punch. Read moreFood took over an hour to leave the restaurant, already going over the estimated delivery time as it said it wasn’t prepared. The reason given being that the restaurant was “busy”. I’m sure the customers in the restaurant didn’t have to wait over a hour and a half for their food. Treat all your customers the same. We are all purchasing customers. Just because I have physical disadvantages meaning I can’t physically be in the restaurant should not mean that I have to wait three times the time normal customers would have to wait. It’s just blatant discrimination. If you cant produce the service offered don’t offer it. Phoned the restaurant multiple times before it left the restaurant and no one answered any of the calls. Food then delivered even later, well out of the given estimated delivery time. Food was then delivered cold. Cheese pot was curdled, chips were hard. The whole thing had clearly been sitting for ages and cold. Not appetising and no longer seemed edible and found its self straight in the bin. Waste of money and food but I’m not in a position to risk my health over cold and curdled food. Appalling customer service- couldn't even answer the phone.
