We ordered two (same) spicy Italian pizzas without mushrooms, but with some red onions and a bit garlic, added with some black olives. But we got one default with mushrooms, but without special ordered toppings. And one with red onions and unbaked/raw pieces of garlic and without mushrooms. But both without black olives. But finally the mozzarella-garlic bread was very good! Next time we wanna try the lasagne. And the waitress apologized and it was okay. In sum: Pizza is not their thing, but the garlic bread is nice.

Came here with my partner was a bit dissapointed as i ordered the pasta and chips when they came both especially the chips were quite hard , i also ordered prawns for starter which came out 3 tiny prawns costing £10 which were not warm , the manager asked why we didnt eat our chips or pasta we said it was a bit hard he then tasted it and said crunchy was a bit shocked as after that still charged for the chips even though he helped himself disappointing the garlic bread was nice only positive i can give

So sad to see this place go, had a catch-up with the girls and we ate from the set menu which had a great range of options. Food was lovely, well cooked and nicely presented - hit the spot. Great value too as it included a drink in the price. O Sole Mio will be missed in Glasgow!

I phoned the Restaurant at 12 Midday to book a table for 6 people for 17.30. When we arrived our name wasn't on the booking sheet, then when I ordered I asked for soup followed by a brushcetta, I asked the waiter to bring me my brushcetta after I had finished my soup he said no problem, then the waitress brought me them at the same time, I told her to take the Brushcetta back and bring it to me after I had finished my soup, I finished my soup and then I had to get her attention and asked her to bring me my brushcetta and she said I will bring it to you with your main course as we are short staffed, what a joke, how is that the customers fault, I told her not to bother, I then went and spoke to the waiter and he said he hadn't understood me again not my fault as I said it plain and simple to bring me the brushcetta after I had finished my soup and he said no problem at the time, again I told him to cancel the brushcetta as I didn't want it when I got my main course as my main course would get cold, then the same waitress still brought me a brushcetta with my main course and again I had to say take it away as I didn't want it anymore. My main course was cold when I got it.Other people in the Restaurant were also unhappy as they had been waiting ages for their orders. This Restaurant used to be a Glasgow Institution but if it doesn't up its game then it won't be around for much longer, The Minestrone soup is also the worst that I have ever tasted. This was a family meal and I was embarrassed that I had taken my nephew and his wife to...

We found this restaurant by accident today and we're so glad we did. Went in today for an impromptu Mother's Day lunch and were accommodated at no notice. For starters, my husband had the minestrone soup and I had the stuffee mushrooms, for mains he had pepperoni pizza and I had the pollo Milano (I think that's right). My oldest child had a pizza and my 2 year old had Bolognese. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food was simply incredible. Beautifully fresh ingredients, the depth of flavour was unparalleled. We will certainly be back for an adults only date night minus the kids so we can have some vino with our meal 😉. All in our bill came to £78, which was a fair price, given the quality of the food and the experience provided to the diners. If you're questioning whether or not you should visit, stop questioning and do it. I promise you won't be...
