I and my wife ordered the steak while others had different choices. The steak was the most expensive meal on the menu but as nothing else was appealing we ordered that - medium rare. The waiter (said he was also the manager) asked us how was the food and I said my steak didn't taste very nice, that it had a cheap supermarket taste and he's response was a facial expression that was arrogant, disproving and as if to say I don't know what a good steak tastes like. He might not afford to dine in steak houses to tell the difference but his rudeness ruined my evening. After which my wife pointed out that her steak was rare not medium rare and when she told him he denied it and contradicted her - said: no that is medium rare, but it's OK I'll take it off the bill (as if that was our goal when she barely touched it). Moment at which I intervened as I found him to be very unpolite and showed him a picture of Google of what the difference between rare, medium rare, medium and well done is hoping that he would apologise if he didn't know the difference instead he replied - you didn't like yours either you said it tastes like it's from the supermarket. At which point I got offended and I said yes do that please its not worth the money and neither is the service. We still left a tip/change (£7) as he didn't come back to collect the cash for 10 15 minutes after bringing the bill (at least it didn't include the steak). So if you want to be treated like rubbish this is the place to dine, otherwise go anywhere else.

Clean place, friendly staff, we had bacon breakfast roll and a black pudding and scrambled eggs breakfast roll. Honestly, this was the biggest and most generous breakfast roll I have ever had. The roll itself was a bit on the dry side for my taste but oh my god the black pudding (and it was the Stornoway Black Pudding which in my opinion is the best there is) the slice was mega thick, cooked to perfection (THE absolute highlight of my day). The scrambled eggs also cooked to perfection they were firm but not overcooked. It could have done with some more seasoning, but I am generally a very salty eater, so it might be spot-on for your taste. I was told by my frien that he loved his bacon roll too. The Bacon was cooked exactly how he likes it. So the only reason I didn't give 5 stars but only 4 is not because of the roll or the eggs. It is because of the coffee I had afterwards. The coffee blend they are using was absolutely not my cup of tea. It had no flavour. It was really weak only after the 3rd or 4th sip I tasted the coffee. I couldn't finish it. But I really wanna go back there and try something else of the menu because if the rest is as good as my black pudding and egg this would be the perfect place to go and have a nice meal out. So please help me and give it a try, guys, and let me know what you ate and how it was because I don't really get to go very often to Pitlochry. Thanks guys

A decent place to have dinner out in the area. Plenty of room for larger parties. Food here is nothing to complain about. Pizzas here are good, the toppings provided and base are well cooked and presented well. The quality of cheese is a little lacking but that's just nit picking. Mains had were the vegetable fajitas, goat cheese salad, duck breast and pasta with chicken and Chorizo. The duck was by far the best thing had, a good strong flavour and perfectly cooked and accompanied with vegetables. The goat cheese salad was satisfactory, nothing too special but executed well. The vegetable fajitas are fit for sharing considering the portion size, seasoning wise it was painfully average close to the store bought old el paso mix. Not bad but not great. The pasta came overcooked, sauce was seasoned well but ran a little too thin, chicken and Chorizo however was overcooked and was topped with raw chili's. Not great. Though the staff were quick and efficient, that day they didn't seem too inviting (a mixed batch) wine list is good and reservations are advisable. Overall I would come back here once covid declines, came here years ago and it was better.

I have never left a bad review but tonight had me shocked unfortunately, the service was standard at first but then quickly went downhill, the waiter quickly took our order and walked away without saying anything and then the food arrived quite quickly! to which notning was said which would normally be good but the tomato pasta was genuinely so bland i was so shocked, there was some chunks of cheese in it that helped slightly but it genuinely tasted like microwave pasta with no seasoning i mean it literally says garlic on the menu but garlic where. No one checked on us not once the entire time not even to say would you like more drinks/how is the food. i was really disappointed because the older lady was chatting and asking how the food at the table next to us was and then she took our plates and walked away without saying anything :( then about 10 mins later we asked for the bill to which morning was said again!! we couldn’t believe it . the chips and the burger was lovely but that was the only bit. when the bill arrived we sat around for about 10 minutes as the waiter yet again said nothing and then she came back with a card machine even though we didn’t tell her how we was paying which I thought was really odd and we was going was about to ask for the dessert menu, but she just walked away and didn’t say anything but she did say thank you for the tip and that was all it was really disappointing still nothing said about experience. it was really saddening seeing tourists dotted on just because they were American. i felt sick paying for such...
