Overall thoughts - really disappointing, honestly. A group of 8 adults and 2 children (were eating) advised to chose from the set menu. Food was ordered in advance and the table booked in advance. Set menu was 32.50 per adult (drink, starter, main and desert) and 7.00 per child (main and desert). On arrival we were seated into a corner, with very little room if sat against the back wall. We had someone elderly with us and found the space very restricting as there were some weird ornamental poles dotted around, some again obstructing the ability to sit comfortably with enough room for the servers to serve and clear the table easily. Whilst I'm on the topic of comfort, the chairs are utterly rubbish. They look the part but they certainly don't feel the part. So, the set menu. Very restrictive for a veggie and even more so for a vegan, but there is no way to order off the regular menu if you're in a group. So... here we go 4 courses, of which 1 is a drink. As a vegetarian it is just not worth it. Let's tot this up then, main meals for a vegetarian off the regular menu are around 12, deserts 6, starters 6 - so that 24. So the drink.. even the non alcohol option is 8.50 to make it up to 32.50? Seriously... very disappointed and the food was not worth the money at all. Humous was flavourful but you got 3 sticks of overly greasy garlic "bread" with it. Am I supose to drink the humous? Kebab Halloumi was greasy again and the Halloumi was over cooked had totally lost its "bounce" and "squeak". Pepper were sweet and tasty but its fairly difficult to get cooking peppers wrong. Desert, the sorbet was delicious but the cheesecake was bland sadly, very little flavour. Seems as though more effort had gone into blowtorching the top than actually making the cheesecake itself. The service was long... almost 3 hours... Table booked for and arrived to eat at 17.15. Drink arrived 17.30 (these were prebooked remember) Starter arrived 18.00. Mains food arrived 18:40. Dessert arrived 19.40. The servers were polite enough but even they didn't clear up all the main dishes before desert was served, so sat there with hanging kebab skewers during desert. Kids food was honestly boring, orderd Gnocchi and it was in a tiny bowl (plenty of it) but no veg, it was plain and it was over cooked, we cook Gnocchi a lot at home and usually it would be enjoyed but not this time sadly. Chips were over seasoned, far too much salt - there should be an option to add salt if you want but most of the table even agreed with me about the saltiness of the chips. Final thoughts - food below average, service was average, decoration looked good but was extremely uncomfortable. High chairs were not suitable for under 1 year old. Would never go back, feels like it's a one time deal for me.

I rarely give negative reviews but last night -Terrible customer service (pictures and videos to back it up)!!! we had a reservation, we were then sat to our table. When we eventually got to order and when I asked a question about adding a extra small item to the vegan board (crispy mushroom) I got a passive aggressive respond, when it was just a question. Anyways, our food arrive 40 MINUTES LATER, and when it did it was not even my food, the staff did not apologise for the long wait, didn’t offer any complimentary drinks or just simple apologies when the food arrived. But when it did arrive it wasn’t even our food and by the time we wanted to say something the waiter was already gone, they came back 5 minutes later with “macaroni and cheese” which we didn’t order on top of the things that were on the table and removed the food from the table and gave us our correct items (due to the excessive wait, they could have offered us to keep the wrong items since it had been on our table for 5 minutes and were now going to be thrown away, I hope lol)…. we had no cutlery… we waited another 2 minutes for cutlery and when the waiter gave us cutlery… it was just a fork had to wait another 2 minutes for a knife.. I also had to wait 15 minutes for the truffle Mayo mustard and that was after I really after 10 minutes that they hadn’t given me the condiment that came with my £17.95 vegan board and that waiter took 5 minutes to bring it. I attached video to it. The restaurant wasn’t that busy by the way, a few empty tables!! (see in pictures) Anyways, just to say I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place if you are different from the normal clientele (iykyk).. I still gave it 2 stars because the place is nice and if you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing place then sure this is the place in Sheffield. (Management have gotten back to me and personally called me after investigation and offered me a free meal which I won’t be taking and apologises for the experience, do as you please if you wish to visit!)

Came with my partner. We had been looking forward to trying this place for a while as everytime we’ve tried to book here it’s always fully booked….. however after yesterday I’m not sure why. Cocktails were nice. Starters took about 50 mins to come out, they did however offer to take those off the bill for us which was a nice gesture. However we weren’t made aware there would be any wait on the food….. Halfway through eating his chicken wings my partner realised it wasn’t cooked and the chicken was still pink. We brought this to our servers attention and they returned and said it was just veins and assured us it was cooked. but it was definitely raw. again they said they’d take it off the bill, but they had already offered to do that because of the wait. after this It took us 35 mins to get someone’s attention so we could order more drinks, we ordered a bottle of Prosecco and it took them another 15 mins to bring it over….. so we had no drinks for around 50 mins in the end. The mains came out almost 50 mins after they had taken away our starters. Again quite a long wait for mediocre food…. The chicken kebabs were dry, the fries were only just warm and the ‘house salad’ consisted of rocket, gem lettuce and a few tomatoes. When someone came to clear up our mains, we weren’t asked if we wanted any desserts or drinks, not that we were wanted any, we couldn’t wait to leave. It then took us 20 mins to get someone’s attention for the bill. We came at around 7pm on Thursday, and ended up leaving at almost 10pm, for a two course meal, that’s a long time. The service was very slow, for saying by 7.30 there was only about 4/5 tables in there including us, it wasn’t busy at all. We won’t be back, didn’t really appreciate being served RAW chicken, and it’s some of the slowest service I have experienced. Hate to think what’s it’s like when it’s busy.

The decor and atmosphere is lovely. But that's as good as it gets, so lower your expectations for the food. Service is incredibly slow, food arrives barely warm and glasses arrive dirty. You'd expect that for a place with 4.2 stars (currently November 2023), that the food would be great too. With a menu that is heavily aimed towards their 'signature' hanging kebabs, you'd at least expect them to be good. Honestly, they were the driest kebabs I've ever had, apart from the one time I tried to make some from scratch using an oven as a teenager. Haha. The pictures really appear more juicy than they are. The chicken took actual force to get the fork into and the prawn kebab was just.. cold. Really not good enough for the price they charge. Looking around past the greenery and chic decorations you can see several other couples who have finished their cocktails (80% ice) and are also waiting for too long for their meals. A table behind me of just 4 guests had to ask twice where their food was, with 10 minute intervals. Oh and the rocket was barely fresh at all. Sadly, a really disappointing experience.

We have visited here before and were excited to go back but I have to say that both the service and the food were a little disappointing. Although the food was good and the decor is beautiful, the food was definitely not as good as we had last time and the service was not great. We didn't eat any slower than you would expect but we're still told that we had to leave our table in 30 minutes before the dessert even came. This seems like a time management issue on their side and as we were there for a celebration it was not pleasant to effectively be told to get out. We also had an issue where one of our burgers came with jalapenos even though that was not listed on the menu and the person having it would have had them removed. Something spicy like that should really be listed on the menu. The diner had even asked for the pickle that was listed to be removed so really it should have also been mentioned at that point. It was a good meal overall but these elements spoiled it a bit.
