Visited the café this week. It is wonderfully located next to the Sheffield Cathedral. The place is clean and well designed. They have a wide selection of board games to choose from (some you can even buy there and take home with you). The staff are very accommodating and helpful in suggesting which board games to play and will happily show you how to play the game you picked. Their menu is quite expansive with a wide variety of drinks, snacks and foods. The cappuccino I had with plant milk was both delicious and beautifully presented. I also had a hot dog, which was very customizable, tasted excellent and was filling too. TL;DR: Great venue, helpful staff, large selection of board games, excellent coffee and great food!

Absolutely loved it. Called in unplanned early afternoon on a Saturday about a month after it opened, with my wife, 10 year old and 12 year old. The staff were really lovely and so helpful, patiently guiding us through how to play a new game. This guidance was invaluable, getting us up to speed so much faster than if we'd tried to figure it out just using the instructions. I'm sure it made all the difference with keeping our youngest engaged. We enjoyed the game so much we'll probably get it for Christmas. The food and coffee were really nice. The environment was also perfect. Looking forward to going back.

Fantastic place, my son (8) and I have been a couple of times now. The cafe itself is lovely with plenty of space and a good menu, choice of games is great and the service is brilliant. The team there are very welcoming, and really helpful with advising, setting up and explaining the rules for the game you choose. No doubt we'll visit again soon!

I love a good board game and popped in with my daughter ( over 20 and a fellow board game fan) for a couple of drinks and to try something new. The couple who run it were very friendly and keen to set us up with just the right game for our mood. We stayed for a couple of hours and played two games which were new to us. Both were good choices and well explained. The cafe is very neat and tidy with very clean toilets. We had a few drinks and my daughter had a snack.

I was happy with the price and had a convivial couple of hours. I would recommend to experienced gamers and...
