Had a meal here, massive BMTH fans. The restaurant is 100% vegan, out of the 6 of us only 2 were vegans, usually when I have vegan food it's "ok" at best, but this was different. I had the hex mex, one of the best burgers I've ever had, even the fries tasted better than normal - but they're just fries, how is this possible? Out of the other 5 people, 1 said it was she best burger he's ever had, and the other 4 all said its some of the best food they've ever had. The place itself is aesthetically pleasing and the music being played was very much to our taste, everything was clean and tidy. Only knocked 1 star off service because somewhere along the line they managed to forget mine and a friends meal and we had to wait 20 minutes for it, but we didn't care because the food was that nice I didn't care, I was munching on my wife's waffle fries and a friends nachos while I was waiting, swallow the food almost orgasmicslly.

A nice bar, with a compact but homely layout. There was live music, and it was not to my taste (I didn’t recognise a single song) but was still pretty good. I personally found the music a little too loud, particularly the drums. The crash was ringing in my ears for almost 3 hours, and I barely remember the music because of it. You cannot hold any conversations in the bar because the music is so loud that you’ll need to holler at the top of your lungs to get anything across. On a good note though, the drinks I got were good. And, I was pretty happy with the seats and lighting. I’m clearly not the main demographic of this place, you may enjoy it more if you like live music on the louder side and are a senior. Even so, overall it was a nice experience and I would come back on non-music nights

What a great pub! I visited The Church House to see a WASP tribute band and found the pub amazing I wish it was in my home town! The staff were very friendly, the beer (Trooper) went down well, very welcoming local people who I had quite a few chats with during the night, I really did have a great night. I’ll definitely be back wether for another band night or when the snooker is in town, I’ll be there for a pint šŸŗ Thank you

Rude and obnoxious. Bar staff missed me at the end of the bar four times. When I asked if I was in the wrong place of the bar owner replied he wasn't serving me because of my hair (bright red). Alternative people are not welcome here!

Response to response from owner: Owner: This guy was completely rude in his tone.

Me: Asking if I was in the wrong area of the bar? At a glass drop off? Not local so is there a reason I'm not being served that I should know about? Unwelcoming.

Owner: This is probably the most welcoming and inclusive bar in all of Sheffield.

Obviously not a local.

Me: So you're welcome as long as you're local. It is everyone else that is unwelcome. Thankyou for clarifying your position on people from out of town and not just with an alternative look or lifestyle.

Owner: If you cannot wait even if someone got served before you.

By accident not intentionally which regetabily sometimes happens.

Me: 4 groups and couples walk in after I arrive at the bar. That is moving beyond an accident but towards deliberate.

Owner: which does not give anyone reason to be rude to me or any of our staff

Not like we were ten deep at the bar.

Me: Exactly. I was not rude, I asked if I was at the wrong end of the bar. I did not shout, get in your face or gesticulate wildly. I'm sorry that you felt intimidated by someone asking a question and I did not mean to make you feel inadequate in your ability to manage a queue at a very quiet bar.

Owner: I’ll add your one star to our massive collection thanks for your awful review we fully deserved it lol nice hair by the way xx

Me: Maybe read them and reflect. You may learn something. Now deliberately mocking a potential customer. How grown up of you. Arguing with customers in a public forum is the best way of increasing engagement. I really hope this...

Visited here a couple of times and thought it was alright. Came here again on a night out with friends. Everything was fine until about midnight then several people on the table next to us started smoking (we were indoors). We commented on this amongst ourselves but didn't actually engage the group on the other table. They then moved to the other side of the bar where several other people were smoking. I also noticed the barman light up a cigarette. After about ten minutes one of the women from the group came over to our table. She asked us if we had been there before and I said we had been a couple of times. She then said that her and her friends went there every day and smoked. She said it was a lock-in and they were allowed to smoke, so I asked her if the doors were closed. They weren't and it was 1:00am (their own website says that they close at 2:00am on a Saturday). The woman then turned aggressive, shouting obscenities at our table and then screaming in the face of my wife. Then she picked up a glass and smashed it on a table directly behind the head of my friend, showering him in glass. The barman (the same one who had been smoking) came over to apologise, saying only that she was drunk. The woman wasn't asked to leave and was still in the pub when we...
