I'm sure this is a lovely pub. I'd been on a long journey and been held up twice due to public transport. Was absolutely desperate for the the loo and politely asked to use it explaining I wasn't a customer. The guy said I could drop some money in the charity box to use it. I explained that I had no cash whatsoever. Guy who was polite stated in that case that the toilets were for customers only. I thanked him and walked out then enjoyed a desperate walk into Sheffield City centre. I'd actually got off the bus due to desperation when I saw the pub opposite.

Beer (and other drinks) selection is always top tier, food is always something to look forward to (portion sizes are mega and I promise you can really taste the effort and care that goes into it), plenty of seating in a wonderful, warm clean safe space. All the staff are wonderful and very good at their jobs. They are knowledgeable and friendly . Everything is great value for money and their quiz is the best in the city. We enjoy the home cooked food, the selection of flavoursome beers (sadly, we're almost always driving so don't get to sample them as much as we'd like), the events, the quizzes and the music.
