KFC — Restaurant in Slough

Disgusting service and I'm absolutely appalled. My dad ordered off the KFC app (not deliveroo or Uber eats or JustEats) for home delivery and said it'd take 30 minutes to deliver but the order never came. I called up the KFC and they didn't pick up for the first three times before they finally picked up. Their system is in absolute shambles in the way that they said the order had disappeared from their system before saying that my order was never on their system in the first place. The man who answered the call (I never got his name unfortunately) but he was taking me around in circles (constantly asking for my order number, typing it in wrong, giving me wrong answers because it was ordered it at 6:45pm and it said it'd be delivered by 7:20pm but I called up at 8pm, with the man saying it'd left the store two hours before. That makes no sense????). On top of that, my dad was charged for the order but there was no sympathy from KFC, no reimbursement or offer for a refund. The customer service was absolutely rubbish and appalling which I'm upset about because I go here regularly and this has never happened before. The way the man was talking to me and my sister was appalling: no manners or respect and I'm absolutely ashamed to have ordered from here before. Please do yourself a favour and don't order from here. Don't do home delivery, don't order for takeaway, don't go here AT ALL. Slough KFC should be ashamed for saying they pride themselves on customer service because they don't. Their customer service is disgusting. If I could give zero...

Yesterday was my second poor experience of using this KFC branch via just eat. The delivery was 15 mins later then the estimated time (we are only 1.5 miles from the branch) and the website lost the drivers location so I couldn't tell where he was. Then when the food arrived 3 of the 7 meals were completely missing the fries; coincidentally this was the exact same thing that happened the previous time I ordered from this store using just eat.

During this current lockdown when 100% of their trade is via takeaway/delivery, I don't understand how they can be making such basic mistakes?

My lesson learnt (and also my advice to everyone else) is don't use just eat and don't use this particular branch of KFC. If you do have to use this branch for delivery then check the food on arrival before letting...

I saw what appeared to be hair on my food, so I returned it. I spoke with the cashier, and she collected the meal from me and took it to the back to show her supervisor. He came and said it wasn't hair...t's something burnt from the grill that got onto it. The cashier picked off the foreign body and had it in her hand, then crushed it to try to prove it wasn't hair. Then they both just left me there with the food. I left it on the counter because there's no way I would eat something that hair was on and to add insult to injury they were talking over this food and traveling from the front to the back then to the front again with my meal opened and having discussions over it.

I have never been this disappointed in KFC. That was my first and last time in Slough KFC. My kids were so...
