Don't know what has happened in the last 12 months or so since I last came hers but, what an awful experince. Asked to do the Sunday buffet (arrived at 8) to be told it eneded at 8:30. Does not state end time anywhere or if it does not clearly! Ok Popadoms and drinks arrived quickly however, starters took forever to arrive and were minimal. Thanj gokdness we were not paying individually for the mis starter at nearly £7 with 3 items on. The buffet was a disgrace! Bare minimal, only 3 side options of Rice, which was solidified abd luke warm, chunks of Naan Bread and Bombay Potato, no Chips, no Saag Aloo. Had maybe 3 curries on, my freind got a korma which had no chicken in it only suace which was a disgrace. Bill came hand written, on our table menu Cobra pints priced at £4.95 tried to charge £5.50 off a menu they brought over having divded up what we would pay by 1x buffet each and what drinks we had each. This came to around £5 short on the bill going off the drinks menu on our table. Did not pay the extra £5 for drinks. A quick calculation of if they serve 30 people a night tagging on a £5 per bill 5x30x7=£1,050x4=£4,200x12=£50,400 so a lot of money they are ripping off people, thats why I refused to pay off this menu they brought over with hand written prices on. We visited tonight with our children while travelling through Stockport. The experience was really disappointing. We arrived after looking online and seeing it was a buffet thinking it would be a quick meal with our kids. I asked staff on arrival if the buffet was on. The server told me that she only deals with customers drinks. Another server came over 5 minutes later to take our order. We asked him if we could have the buffet. We were told we had to wait for starters to arrive. When they did arrive they were very average. We then had to wait 20 mins after we finished to get our plates cleared in order for us to get main course from buffet area. The buffet had minimal choice and disappointing. The restaurant itself was really dirty. The window sills looked like it had a years worth of dust on it. There seems to be confusion over payment too as cards are not being accepted. This should be made clear on arrival. I was told by staff to wait at bar to pay bill. After a while I was told by another member of staff who I assume was the manager that we should wait at the table to pay. I am not usually someone who writes complaints however I was so disappointed and feel like these points could be used as constructive feedback to help in future. Get staff to be more attentive to customers. Clean up the restaurant area. More choice in buffet area. Clearer...

Waited an hour and 45 minutes for food. Waiter had to confirm order as they had lost what we had ordered. Biriani when it turned up was rubbish, meat tough and greasy. Had to wait a further 10 minutes for the sauce to arrive which was watery and bland. Couldn't eat it all as such poor quality. No one checked if the food was OK. Drinks ordered didn't turn up and some food had to be sent back as it wasn't cooked. We had to ask three times for the bill. All in all the worst restaurant experience that i've ever had. We were there 2 hours 45 minutes in total to eat a substandard curry in a restaurant with clueless staff and a crap chef. Avoid like the plague. 2nd rate curry and 3rd rate service. Additional. After seeing the response from the restaurant, I'm sorry but being busy is no excuse for extremely poor service and the poor quality of the curry. Frozen veg in the food, Shop bought poppadoms and bland watery sauce.
