Sweet Dreams Sunderland — Restaurant in Sunderland

I recently visited Sweet Dreams on High Street, Sunderland, for dessert . Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

I ordered dessert (cheesecake and brownies), but to my surprise, they were served in plastic cups and containers instead of proper dessert dishes. When I politely asked the manager about this, his response was extremely rude. He said, “This is how we’ve been doing it for the last three years, and no one has complained.”

I found this attitude very unprofessional. A restaurant that presents itself as a proper dining place should not be serving desserts in takeaway-style containers, especially when customers are seated inside for dinner. The manager’s dismissive attitude made the experience even worse.

Overall, the service was unacceptable and far below expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good service and proper...

The food from sweet dreams is out of this world. First time ordering tonight and it won't be the last, I've tried a few places in Sunderland but this was by far the best. The positions are huge. I got the fondue for 1 with strawberries and white chocolate, it was amazing, my partner got oreo cheesecake and loved it, my little 1 gor a mini ice cream kinda. It was absolutely massive. We will deffo be regulars here from now on. Oh we also tried the waffles too, again it was beautiful.. PLEASE NOTE MY CHILD HAD EATEN THE HUGE AMOUNT OF TOPPING OFF THE ICE-CREAM B4 THE PIC AND THATS ONLY HALF...

Absolutely disgusting service. Lady who served us told us the prices on the menu are out of date by about 2 year .Basically every price on the menu was wrong. MINI SUNDAE MENU PRICE 3.99 charged 5.99 . Ridiculous having menu with prices that are misleading to the customer. Bubble waffle menu price 7.49 Charged 8.49 . Not acceptable and actually committing a criminal offense under the consumer protection from unfair trading regulations 2008 . I suggest you check what your business is legally obligated to display . A complaint to consumer rights...
