I just want to say this place has immaculate food. By far the best pizza in Cardiff. Their carbonara pizza is excellent. Sadly for the last four instances I’ve had horrible service in ordering their food via delivery apps - I have attached photos of the last two instance. This is not a post to say don’t eat there although I don’t like the idea that they trade by a different name on the apps (Pizza by Giorgio) making it impossible to find and contact them, and they leave zero contact info on the app nor do they allow pick up which tells my they’re trying reeeeally hard to keep their online presence and their geographical presence separate. Im even less impressed that after I have found them online, actually getting in touch is impossible. What I am saying is this place is pizza by Giorgio on the delivery apps and if you want to enjoy their food at home, go pick it up. Otherwise you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment. You’ll get your Monday back but you’ll either eat a squished pizza or you’ll have to figure out something else to eat anyway.

We recently held a festive meal for 55 people at Casablanca on City Road, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Zac and the team went above and beyond to make the evening a huge success. They were incredibly accommodating, catering to a wide range of dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, and meat options, as well as those with allergies. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious – every dish was bursting with flavor! The atmosphere was warm and joyous, with the friendly staff creating a welcoming environment and making sure everyone was well taken care of. Our staff team couldn’t stop raving about the experience, with many saying it was their favorite festive meal to date. A huge thank you to the team at Casablanca for making our night unforgettable. Highly recommend for any group gathering or celebration!

I've been to Casablanca a few times now and I can promise you the food has NEVER disappointed. If you're in Cardiff this a sure must try. I've recommended this restaurant to many people, all with the most glowing reviews. I typically order a few starters like the hummus, falafel and muttabal - all of which are accompanied by various soft, warm breads. For the mains, I usually order the sharing platter like the grill or Kabseh, if it's a bigger group I'll add on a tagine. The flavours and quality of these platters are phenomenal , definitely the best Moroccan food I've ever had. Needless to say, the service is first class as well. You won't regret a visit to Casablanca if you're in the Cardiff area.

Let me start by saying the food is outstanding!! I’ve been here twice and both times the food been top notch.

However, the service was so bad that it completely ruin the whole experience.

First things first we were told there was no sprite, so we ordered coke and water instead, the water never showed up, then we see them taking sprite to another table so we asked for 2 sprite; they only brought 1. We had to ask 4 times for an additional sprite and it took 15 extra minutes to come.

Then our starters came, 1 starter was missing which we never received and we shared between 7 people, they brought no side plates or cutlery so we had to wait 5 minutes before we could get there attention and another 5 minutes before the plates came: however we still didn’t get cutlery but we went without.

Then our mains came and the lady was standing their with our mains saying she couldn’t put them down as there was no room, well that’s because they didn’t come and remove any of the stater dishes or side plates, so we had to wait for her to take our food back then come back and remove the plates

Then they brought the mains back with the rice missing telling us the rice would be 15 minutes after our mains, we told them it wasn’t good enough an her reply was just sorry and put the mains down anyway an walked away:

We still hadn’t received cutlery and had to wait another 5 minutes for that.

Basically the service was atrocious, however the food is so good that I am Willing to give them another chance.

I am not writing this review to try make the place look bad bur more for them to hopefully make a change with their service because if they can this will be one of...

Visiting Cardiff from London and came across this hidden gem, situated in City Road, attracted by it's tagine on the menu and once we walked on, the ambience, morrocan songs playing, with the smell of fresh warm bread, and morrocan tea! Oh was I glad we dined here, from the beginning to end Sana was extremely helpful and helped navigate the menu for my friend a fussy eater. But even she was satisfied! Everything is homemade and yes the tagine was flavoursome, soft and the sauce was divine, as well with its vibrant natural colours, no aesthetics needed here, I indulged mopping up all the sauces with the warm bread! Oh my I did not have space to consume anymore food but couldn't leave without having their morrocan tea.. infused with fresh leaves, and mint..I dont do tea bags and the tea really was the creme de la creme!! I definetly will be going again soon, forgetting the normal eateries...
