SO and I are very pleased with the food from this restaurant and agree that we'll order from here in the future.

Our order was the Vegetarian (set) meal for two with a few additions.

As a light word of warning, the price of the vegetarian set meal was £2 higher than the price listed online, came with one fewer naans than listed, 2 extra containers of boiled rice, and an extra 2 poppadoms. We're still easily pleased enough to order here again, but if ordering by phone it might be advisable to confirm that you're getting the same items and prices as those listed on Just Eat. Also worth noting is that the gentleman delivering the food was patient and polite while I, after realizing the higher price, scrambled to determine that we had the correct order.

The person I spoke with to place the order was also clearly aware of which menu items contained and did not contain gluten (the ones I asked about did not). This makes ordering much easier for anyone with wheat or gluten intolerance. He also clearly indicated that gram flour was used, and I may have detected an air of "using wheat flour where gram flour is traditionally used is silly", to which I agree! Though I'm probably reading too much into a brief phone order.

My name is Yousef, I am leaving a review here to say that I had an absolutely outstanding Indian take-away from this place on the 8th October 2017.

The portions were a good size. The meat was fantastically cooked; the spices were excellent. The bread just perfect.

I am always looking for good Indian take-aways around here but as I don’t have a lot of money I only do it as a special treat. As such I want it to be really good and worth it. Dalchini’s was exceptional value, exemplary quality, and much more pragmatic than other places. They have a very good website for direct orders and they accept card payments over the phone.

The food itself was so good that I will be ordering again from them. It’s really hard to explain the standard of the onions, prawns, chicken, and lamb. Sublime. I went for a wide array and every aspect of it was attentively considered.

I called them to say I thought it was excellent and asked where I could leave a review, and they said ‘Google please’. And so that’s why I am here writing this.

The food is generally quite nice, although this time I didn't get to taste it. I ordered the food with an expected wait of 35 to 50 minutes. This was at 19:50, I was then given an expected delivery time of 21:10. I thought well its a Saturday night so will give them the benefit of the doubt. I had to leave for work at 21:30 but was willing to take it with me if need be. I called around 5 times once it had gone half past every five minutes and was told he was 5 minutes away each time. Unfortunately this was not true. I left at 21:39 to be exact. I notified the restaurant that I needed to cancel my order, to which they asked how I ordered. I told them just eat so they told me quite rudely to cancel through them and hung the phone up, no apology not even a good bye.
