DFC Swansea is a hidden gem!

The food is full of flavour, warmth, and generosity — you can tell it’s made with real care and love. Amin and his sister Ameena run the place, and the family history in cooking shines through in every dish.

We had the Desi Breakfast, which includes 2 sides, 2 breads, a masala omelette and a hot drink — amazing value for £8.99. The Aloo Bhazi was a standout for me — salty, subtly spiced, and so moreish. Ella loved the Keema Peas and her Kashmiri Pink Chai.

We also tried the Desi Spuds — I had Desi Tikka and Ella had Chicken Jalfry. Both were packed with flavour, generously portioned, and came with an epic cheese pull!

If you’re after something different from your usual breakfast or want a proper hearty meal, DFC is a must-visit. Excellent food, lovely people, and incredible value. Can’t recommend enough.

DFC... well today we went there as I have nice food from there in the past I ordered mild lamb kebab for me and 2 pcs chicken for my partner they messed up and give 2 crispy wings which in all fairness they corrected i left the shop my partner went to have the chicken it was smelling of bins so she rang the shop just to tell them that they chicken was off. So we took it back 2 staff at the shop smelt the chicken and both pulled faces and then the other man went over and said there's nothing wrong with it and was rude to my partner. Won't be eaten there no more and be ringing the authorities asap as its stinking please next time any 1 who sees this go there check the food before you go my partner is heavily pregnant it could of caused damage to her or the baby if she...

Absolutely fantastic takeaway! The menu is huge with so much variety – from hearty breakfasts and jacket potatoes to burgers, kebabs, and plenty more in between. Everything we tried was packed full of flavour, and it was great to be able to choose the spice level to suit everyone’s taste. The kebab meat was a real standout, not your usual greasy takeaway kebab, but full of flavour and felt much “cleaner” and fresher. Four of us tried it and we all agreed it’s without a doubt the best takeaway we’ve had in a long time! The staff were lovely and welcoming. There’s a decent-sized seating area inside plus some tables outside, but we opted for takeaway this time. Can’t wait to go back and try more...

My new favorite fried chicken spot is DFC! From the moment I walked in, the service was amazing. The guys working were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered the bucket, and wow, what a feast! The quantity was huge, with an incredible variety of food. I got to try a bit of everything, from the crispy strips to the juicy wings. The best part? The chicken was delicious and not oily at all, which can be hard to find with fried food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to DFC.
