Happy Valley Pavilion Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

I came here yesterday (Wednesday 15th May) with my two children (6&5yrs old) after a morning of exploring Beaumaris Castle. The two ladies serving were just beautiful souls who made me and children feel so welcomed 🥰

The food is amazing, so fresh, absolutely delicious and a great price for fresh, homemade food.

I can't thank them enough for making our visit so enjoyable not to mention filling us up after a morning of exploring, with the most incredible sandwiches and the best Millionaires shortbread I've ever tasted! (Wish I had bought an extra slice to take with me 😋😅) We did take home with us some delicious homemade Welsh cakes which did not disappoint 😋 The two ladies went above and beyond looking after us, and my children loved chatting away with them. We will take home wonderful memories not only of our fantastic holiday to Anglesey but of having lunch at the Happy Valley Cafe.

The most incredible selection of cakes and sweet treats I've seen for a long time. We discovered this place on the last day of a week's holiday last year and were gutted we only got to try one of the cakes (tempting though it was to stay all day and work our way through all of them!). So we're here again this year and plan to come as many times so we don't miss any of the goodies. Today's choice was a chocolate cheesecake donut. Genius idea and delicious beyond expectations. Friendliest staff I've met for a long time, HUGE selection of homemade cakes from all the classic ones like carrot cake, coffee & walnut cake, Rocky Road cake or Victoria sponge cake to Eaton mess cake and Death by chocolate cake. My husband had a slice of Death by chocolate cake and wow. Full of chocolate flavour but not too sweet, just perfect. I had a slice of carrot cake and it is on my top list of carrot cakes.
