Honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. So sad as I've heard such good things about Hoogah but the waiting staff totally let them down, and on top of this my pizza was burnt! We were offered 1 drink in over 2 hours, first drink took 45 minutes to arrive and half the tables drinks arrived after our food. Upon asking what flavour gins they had, we were told the waitress would find out but never returned, this was already half an hour after they had cleared away our empty glasses and when asked can we order another drink she said for the 6th time 'will be right back', as stated previously, 30 minutes passed and then still no drinks order, when she finally returned we decided to ask for the bill rather than a drink. When we had the bill, we were mortified to find the customers on our table before us still had their drinks on there! Another 20 minutes for the waitress to take the drinks off the bill and then said 'be right back with the card machine', after waiting 20 minutes more we decided to pay at the bar (which broke covid rules but we had no choice). Unfortunately I will not...

My companion advised me early on, as I was getting a little aerated about the (lack of/inconsistent) service, ‘don’t let their problems become ours, we can have a nice time anyway’ she was of course correct. I calmed down, and eventually, briefly, fell asleep, for what I was later told was an hour wait for food.

That was unexpected, as the front section of the restaurant was empty when we entered. I say entered, we were told not not to come in until bidden. Thanks bartender.

So I’m slightly mixed about this place, the chef is being slightly let down by the front of house. Which is a shame, because…

The food (now we are getting to it) was tasty, local, fresh, different, and very welcome. I was with a group of discerning vegans who all expressed their delight with the dishes that we were served.

I’d go again, yes, no, not sure. Sorry to be ambivalent. I dutifully tipped the waitress, the third one, I lost count.

I don’t do pictures of food, never does it justice, and all looks...

Best date night spot in Swansea! We luckily grabbed a table at the back of the restaurant, where we had both the warmth of the kitchen and could equally enjoy the glow of the gorgeous outdoor garden seating area. Being a Pembrokeshire girl myself, the Tenby brewery pale ale jumped out at me! Sadly it’s popularity resulted in an empty cask, but the friendly waiter was quick to suggest me another equally delicious pint instead.

From your initial bite to the final nibble of the crust, you can taste the smoke of the pizza oven throughout. My choice of Boar Salami, Pickled Fennel and Mozzarella was equally welcomed by my boyfriend’s wandering hand, after devouring his own N’duja and Pickled Chilli Pizza.

Their Pork Scratchings are anything but a mere snack to gobble with your beer, as they are the closest thing to a Sunday Roast’s trimmings you’ll find. We ordered two: one was sufficient!

Stunning decor, friendly staff, funky bathroom wall paper, gorgeous pizza...

Love everything about this place, staff are great. Good selection of foods and hot drinks. Something for everyone, well worth a visit 👍.

This was perhaps my hardest review to make. So to be fair... If 'being seen' in right sorts of places is important to you then this should rate much higher. The food was decent enough. It ranks higher for presentation than for freshness or flavor though. It does offer a variety of healthy, vegan, and vegetarian options. The decor was basic shabby chic. So it had some flavor at least. But... It was overly loud. Especially for a Sunday morning. The food was outrageously expensive. I spent seven quid for a coffee and pot of yogurt with fruit. The worst though was waiting over twenty minutes for a pot of yogurt. I might have waited even longer if I had not gone up to the counter and inquired. This was a horrid experience and an expensive lesson in eating before I leave the house. I wasted both time and money; a mistake I won't repeat here. Like I said though, if posh means more to you than service and price, by all means go here. That's as honest and fair as I can be.
