The desserts are great. However, their customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. I can count a handful of times when they have got my order correct and for some ridiculous reason, I keep coming back. And when I have complained about the error (either a topping is missing or the flavour is wrong etc), I'm always met with a disgraceful level of customer service, with the staff placing the blame on ME for their error or giving ME attitude for the extra work they have to do in making a new dish. Today's visit was no exception.

Firstly, we had to seat ourselves because staff basically ignored us, along with another couple, at the door. I then ordered a 'Belgian Chocolate Crepe' with bananas and a scoop of ice cream. When my order arrived, my fruit was missing (also note that I paid extra for that topping). I was not given an apology for the error. Then I noticed the Crepe had chocolate syrup instead of chocolate sauce.

I politely went to the desk and explained that what I received was not what I ordered. The staff member told me that the order was correct, which, in all fairness, I then looked at the menu and it was as stated so I accepted that with no argument. I then asked if it came with syrup, what is 'Belgian chocolate' about the dessert? He replied that he 'didn't know' but that is how he was trained to make the dish. I said that that was fine but I would like my money back because that wasn't what I ordered.

I also mentioned that every time I come, my order is incorrect. He then refused to give me my money back because they had provided the dessert as described. Again, I didn't argue or make a scene. I said fine, refused the plate and walked back to my table to wait for my friend to finish her dessert. Not 2 minutes later, a staff member comes to my table, says "here's your money", audibly slams it on the table and walks off.

If your staff member had simply apologised for the confusion, corrected me and pointed out the menu description and advised me to ask for 'chocolate sauce' instead of 'chocolate syrup' next time, I would have been absolutely fine. Not only was there no apology, the blatant disrespect for my custom was simply appalling, not to mention refusing to give me my money back and then bringing it to my table without a word.

I am not a person who usually complains without merit but I have given this establishment the benefit of the doubt time and time again (and might I add, have never made a fuss), but I will NEVER be giving you my custom again. Your desserts may be good but your appalling customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I also notice that others who have left negative reviews complain about the customer service too so maybe this is something management need to look into.

I'd recommend Coco Gelato further down the road, or Creams. Desserts are just as good and their customer service is far more...

I really didnt expect to have to write such a bad review of this place because i really enjoyed eating at kaspas for the last couple of weeks but yesterday was just unacceptable. When i walked in, ive seen at least 3 empty tables where me and ny kids could be seated, so after nobody aproached me i asked the lady behind the counter for a table and she just said "no, wait for someone". I waited another couple of minutes, but nobody aproached me even though there were two guys just standing there and talking to each other while doing nothing so i just seated myself down. After waiting 30 minutes for 3 milkshakes, i got flustrated so i went and asked for my milkshakes and the lady said that they made a mistake with my order, so i had to wait another 10 minutes. Because i waited so much for the milkshakes, and there were still 2 waffles to come, i went to get a refund for the waffles but the lady said that the waffles are already made so its not possible to get a refund. I had enough of arguing so i just left with my kids without getting a refund. Overall, terrible customer service. I hope the owner sees this review because the staff is really...

Of all the hype I've heard over time that dessert only restaurants were the new craze, I was expecting alot coming here and was Dissappointed somewhat before we got to the door. It was not well lit in comparison to the surrounding independent vendors. We were not greeted upon entry and were only asked if we were eating in when we were wandering back and forth to see if there were free tables in the rear. Once seated we were told to pick from the menu and order at the desk. The interior was as dim as the exterior and the seating seemed untreated and worn. The embroidered signage on the seats were filthy. The toilets were closed with the exception of the disabled which was in disrepair, the door was hard to secure shut and lock, the toilet roll holder was empty and a large toilet roll was placed on the wall rail. The hand basin only supplied cold water and the dryer was hanging out of the wall. The waffles, ice cream and coffee that we had were absolutely amazing but everything else seemed to let it down. Even the staff did not seem keen or happy. It's a...

What a lovely place! It's the perfect spot to chill and relax, especially if you're craving desserts and ice cream. Whenever I'm looking for a place to hang out with friends, this is my go-to choice. The taste of everything they offer is simply exceptional—I can't get enough! The ambience adds to the overall experience, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. And to top it off, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone to check out this place—it's truly a gem. What's even better is that they have locations in both the City Centre and on City Road, so you're never too far away from indulging in their delicious treats. And if you're a student, you'll be happy to know that they offer a discount. Don't miss out on this wonderful spot!
