This place used to be bloody amazing especially for food but twice we’ve been in over the last few months and both times left underwhelmed and unhappy with the service provided

We had a reservation and were seated as the waiter was about to take our order for drinks he cut me off mid sentence then walked off to speak to another member of staff , he came back to inform us we had to move to the back of the pub as the area was reserved for the band which is fine but don’t get why we were seated there in the first place?

He seated us again and then said someone will be over to take our drinks in a few minutes but I told him we were ready to order as we were previously in the middle of doing so.

I ordered the sirloin steak and my partner ordered the gammon ( pub classics) nice easy meals we also had the calamari for starters. The food arrived and I can only describe it as plain and boring not something you’d pay almost £25 per dish for (gammon was around £18) instantly the chips tasted and smelt fishy while the steak was far from medium rare but almost tough and mooing at me but it didn’t have the best smell either. We were asked if everything was okay and as someone who suffers with anxiety I said yes while the waitress could see we were both sending back full plates of food. When another member of staff asked if we wanted the bill I decided I was going to speak up and just state we weren’t happy but I was met with comments like “you could’ve told me when you had the chance” I explained things like this take courage for me to do was just made to feel silly and not entitled to my complaint. I was happy to pay for the gammon but insisted I wasn’t satisfied with the steak plus I had sent back basically a full meal! We were made to pay for the food but had our drinks taken off the bill which is better than nothing. I can honestly say this place is not the same as it was before and it’s...

I booked the No Sign Wine Bar for a Works Christmas party for a group of 15 guests. It was my first time organising an event and the staff there made it as hassle and stress free as possible.. originally booked on line but was able to nip in and pay off the deposit and the standing balance amounts.

The on line link they sent to pre order food was simple and user friendly. .

On the day the majority of the table were there but staff were OK for us to wait on others to join which was great and much appreciated.

The staff were swift with bringing out the food and in taking away rubbish (pulled crackers) and empty plates. Each person also had a place setting with their order which is great for large groups especially if you don't bring a print out with you.

We had a friendly reminder that the table was needed back at 3pm and as we were finished eating picked up our belonging and made use of the smoking area.

The food was beautiful and great value for money. It has been the best Christmas meal, so I am told that we have managed to organise. So again I'd like to say thank you for that and thank you for all the hard work put in on the day. It seemed like a well organised and well oiled machine.

Would definitely book again and a few of the party had never been before and would love to come back in their own time.

I've always enjoyed visiting. It's always welcoming friendly and cosy especially with the fire...

I Had been saying how lovely the food was in the no sign bar and took my partner and granddaughter there for lunch today. Sorry to say this will be my last visit. The food was warm, and ok, the chicken curry was more like Spanish chicken, again was OK but not the usual standard. The burger meal was luke warm. We did tell the waiter and he asked if we wanted to speak to the manager, although we said no at the time, I did think the manager might have said something to us as we were paying and leaving, but nothing. On checking the receipt: We ordered 3 meals and asked for the burger and and the fish to be the 2 meals for £18 , the waiter said yes and explained there was an extra surcharge of £2:00 ( actually £2:50)with the burger. Making their meals coming to a total of £20:50, I then had the curry for £12:50 . Total price should have been £33:00. Instead was charged £36:45, be because they put the curry and the fish as the 2 meals for £18. So with 3 soft drinks the meal came to £41:15 .... over charged for warm food .... so very disappointed, for future customers, check your bill and make sure you speak to the manager, now...

called in with a friend for a quiet meal after work we had a drink and asked for a menu we wanted to have the sirloin steak my friend had blue and I had medium rare looked all good until we cut in to our steaks half way though we cut in to steaks and they was overcooked we asked for blue on one of the steaks and that was more medium the second was medium but was more well done the chips were basically warmed up more than once the mushrooms were dripping in oil and we was more disappointing and upset with the service as we both needed a good night out we did discuss this with the waiter and barstaff and didn't even have a apology or interest in our complaint very disappointing will not be going back anytime soon

Good pub. It extends backwards extremely far. It's trippy. Toward the back is yet another bar area so capacity is large and there's always seats to enjoy the atmosphere. Playing cards or games here is welcomed and enjoyable. I thought the bathrooms were a bit gnarly though compared to the high quality and well-kept wood infused lower floor. Speaking of that, it's such a beautiful looking area downstairs. The staff are warm and have also clearly been trained well and are managed well. They seem happy here and I would be too. I would give five stars if the bathrooms got some work to reflect the amazing quality throughout.

Oldest running Pub in Swansea. Huge heritage - lotz of history and awards, simply institution! Really tasty pub food, satysfing selection of craft beers and other drinks, very polite and professional staff, weekends full of entertainment, and nice, warm interior (especially of old part). One of my favourite Pubs all over the time. Being on Wind Street and not pop in to No Sign Bar is like not being there at all. /// During annual NO SIGN BAR BEER🍺 & CIDER 🍎 Festival you have unique chance to try tens of crafted only locally drinks from different parts of Wales & England 😋
