NONNA's PLANT BASED CAFE — Restaurant in Wales

It was me and my partners second time visiting this establishment with our friend and sadly will definitely be our last. We were made to feel very uncomfortable by the owner of the shop who was extremely unnecessarily rude to our friend. We were all sat outside out of the way and our friend had bought outside food to eat but we had assumed this would be ok as me and my partner were paying customers. The owner stormed out and rudely berated him instead of politely telling him he could not eat outside food on the premises. We wouldn’t have minded if he wasn’t so overly confrontational. Although the food is amazing I went there today from a suggestion from someone at another vegan restaurant. When I mentioned this to the lovely young man behind the till. He happily chatted to me about the differences. Although a woman I assume an owner, didnt like being compared to this other vegan restaurant in Swansea. And proceeded to rudely speak to the young man who works there in front of me and other customers. It was unfair to embarrass the young guy this way. And it really has put me off supporting this business. Unfortunately Veggie/vegan places dont last long in Swansea. Businesses should support one another and not put other vegan businesses down. Every single time I’ve been here the food and service has been impeccable! I took my nieces here today as they desperately wanted pink doughnuts before they went to see Barbie in the cinema - and despite being sold out of strawberry/raspberry doughnuts by the time we got there, the lady working offered to make them up fresh for us! We honestly would have settled for anything else at the counter as it would have been just as wonderful, but she went above and beyond to give them those pink doughnuts and that deserves so much praise and thanks!
