Called in there last Sunday around 1pm to play pool with my 10 year old daughter, her mother is not really happy of the idea of taking her to a pub to play pool but once I told her that Copper is much more of a café bar at what the atmosphere at the time was like, she was happy. The staff were really helpful and friendly and told us the pool table is down stairs and is only 50p per play. I know this is far cheaper than over in TenPin at £1.50, given how it's usually so loud in there you have to shout over the table, changing to Copper for pool makes a lot of sense. They also have a Ping pong table, oversized Jenga type game and a football table, these are all free to use and near the small bar there is an old school Pacman arcade table, 50p per play. Most of the time we were there we were totally alone, a few others joined but we barely noticed them as they were quite quiet and using the Ping pong table. Knowing how quite it and friendly a place it is I will take her there much more regular than when used to play at Tenpin.

For somewhere that has coffee in big writing outside and when asked if they could could make an oat flat white, said yes, I was so disappointed. A flat white should be strong with a small amount of slightly foamed milk, and I got a large cup of warm oat milk on an espresso. I'm not sure how the milk was heated but it wasn't done with a steam wand. I'm not keen on very milky drinks where you can barely taste the coffee, so I went without. Atmosphere wise, it wasn't my cup of tea. Very loud music, drunk people at 4pm, and you couldn't walk in or out without getting a lungful of smoke from people drinking outside. For those who want a pint and a good night, its probably the perfect atmsphere, but not great for a cosy coffee with family before a long journey home.

I just turned 18 and threw a party at Sessions in Swansea, and it was totally awesome! The place was jaw-droppingly beautiful from the get-go, and the vibe was just magical, perfect for a big day like this. The staff were super chill and made everyone feel at ease. They were on top of things and really went out of their way to make sure everything was spot-on. The whole party was a blast, packed with fun and memories, all thanks to the awesome atmosphere and top-notch service at Sessions. I totally recommend it if you’re looking for a cool spot with great people. My 18th was epic, and Sessions was a big part of why it was so unforgettable.

First and last time visiting this venue. Went here for a charity event on Friday, the event and atmosphere were great but can't say the same about the staff. One particular member of staff had an attitude as soon as we walked in, rolled their eyes at us for browsing the drinks selection and not ordering straight away. Told a friend of mine that she "needs to move" out of the way of them when the venue was busy and there were clearly limited places to stand and no seats available. A few of our party members were made to feel uncomfortable on this occasion. I dislike leaving bad reviews but it was just unnecessary, having personally worked in hospitality I know how it can get but there is a way to treat customers. The other member of staff at the bar however was great, can't say a bad word about them. The drinks were reasonably priced, not cheap but not...

Unfortunately this bar changed hands and it just went down.

Here is our feedback for improvements:

  1. Coffee should be served from a proper Italian espresso machine, not from an electric fully automated high turnover coffee brewing machine. Coffee did not taste nice, no character, just coffee. I expected experience and enjoyment from tasting coffee, it is not just another drink.

  2. I know it is called a bar, but this place used to serve creative and delicious fresh cakes. You lost this quirky little offer and mismatch of expectations with the customers. It is a shame. It does not take much and cakes would be gone especially around the weekends.

I truly hope you can take this feedback to make this place shine again and attract us to revisit you in a few months and would be happy to revisit the review and rating of this rating. I wish...
