Doesn't even deserve one star. I understand fully the policy of no U18s after 6pm but this should not result in public humiliation from a horrible "staff". We were arrogantly asked for ID for simply wanting to watch the biggest football fixture of the year. So politely we left and preceded to sit on the bench outside while we waited for our parents. Further harassment continued as we were told we couldn't sit on this wooden bench and had to leave the premises. When we asked why we were given no answer and then we're threatened with "I'm calling the police" despite us simply asking a question and nicely leaving, despite the rudeness that we were addressed. Then my father arrived and asked the same woman why we couldn't SIT in the worlds worst pub. She then, as many people do, lied and said we were rude and told her to "go away", yes because an 18 year old would tell someone to go away? I think not. I would never visit this "pub" even...

Well called in for a drink 21/1/23 only a few people in there! It was like a ghost town (Last time was about 18 months ago and then it was full with a great atmosphere). Approached the bar where a male and female member of staff were too busy talking so had to wait, so my son went to the toilet. My wife and I ordered some drinks when they'd finished talking and decided to work. They poured 2 pints and opened a j20 for my son. On my son's return from the toilet the female staff member announced that children weren't allowed after 7pm (it was 7:05pm). Had the staff been paying any attention at all when we came in they would have seen my son and saved the embarrassment caused. We certainly won't be returning ever again. I can only imagine this is one of the reasons why...

If you enjoy a proper boozer read on; if you prefer a santised wine bar move along, there is nothing for you here.

We had a cracking 2 nights last Saturday and Sunday at the Kings Arms. Both were Karaoke nights and the overall standard of singing was really good.

We found the Kings Arms to be a very special place. Everyone we came across there from staff to other customers were very friendly and up for a chat.

There are not many genuine places like this left, so thank you to Lois and your team for keeping the flame burning, particularly during the very difficult last couple of years.

We look forward to spending a good night with you here again when we next...

Stopped in at the kings arms last for a cheeky pint..cracking pub, with its original interior. Not one of those Lee's pubs, where they rip out all the original old fixtures, to then put fake original fixtures back in. It was a bit late so we didn't try the food, but bellend chef Gordon Ramsays Scampi, chunky chips and mushy peas is still available for £10.95 The kings arms is where nob Ramsay invented the chunky chip, probably his best dish to date.

What a great traditional pub. Lovely mosaic glass feature above the bar, so elegant. A beautiful old worldly pub. Tap beers and a couple of real ales available. Staff were friendly and polite. Wooden floors throughout. Nice log open fire burning when I arrived, magic. Clean and tidy inside. Beer was good. Enjoyable visit.

A real pub with a welcoming atmosphere. A little gem in Llandudno. We walked in off a rainy street and were made to feel like locals. Very clean and historic setting with a lovely team of people. We didn’t have chance to try the food but will return on our next trip
