Smuggler's Cave Café — Restaurant in Wirral

I have had some food here before, on my own and take out. They are dog friendly in here so be aware, it's situated at nearly the end of the row of Victoria Road shops, it is difficult to park along there so plan that aspect before you visit, this morning my wife asked if I could pick us up a cooked breakfast each after my dip at the Fort, the food, service and atmosphere was excellent we had large breakfasts and latēs top quality food beautifully cooked, they didn't have takeaway containers large enough (they had run out) so lent us plates!!!!! Been meaning to try smugglers cafe out for a while, decided on the breakfast which was going great until what I can only assume the manager (blonde haired woman with glasses) came in and started belittling the staff members in front of not just me but other customers very unprofessional and made a very nasty and tense atmosphere, finished eating promptly and left a tip for the young waitress who had served me as was clearly visible she had been crying, great food great staff terrible manager and tense atmosphere won't be...

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Now not Pirate themed. Wonderful local cafe with home cooked food and delicious fresh made coffee. An unusually friendly cafe were people are happy to chat with you. Free papers every day along with friendly staff and a great owner called Paula. Highly reccomended for just a drink or a meal.
