I’m a loyal customer of Starbucks and when visiting the original stores in Worcester I love the friendly approach. So today I visited the new store in shrub hill and loved the counter staff. But then the manager came out on to the floor, the situation then changed. I would never shout at staff on the shop floor when there are customers in the store. No matter how many customers are in this is never a good thing to do. As a manager you’re there to represent Starbucks and the holding company that owns this franchise. Read moreAs a user of many Starbucks it was refreshing to visit this new store. However there appears to be no overall management of staff or premises. The background music in any establishment should be at a reasonable level but here far too loud quieter at a concert people have to shout in their conversations. All of the staff are very young and act so chatting snd looking on their phones whilst customers are left waiting especially at weekends. Read moreI don't usually frequent Starbucks but I wanted to treat myself and the wife on a Friday morning. I asked for two OAT lattes, had to verify it to the barista three separate times. Then I noticed their colleague making my drinks, noticing the type of milk bottle I asked upon receiving it "these are both oat milk yes?" to which they replied yep oat milk.
