Alfredo's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Abilene

Always have been coming here but this family has lost the idea of running business. So it closes at 6pm now and I showed up in drive through at 540pm and ordered nachos with bean cheese and meet. Plain and simple to make. (you would think atleast, smdh) They always forget the beans and this time nothing different I caught it at drive through and told them they took my food then made me wait and gave it right back to me without touching it! I didn't look again due to them making me wait for it. ( I definitely should have cause of course no beans) I will not be coming back to...

So disappointed the meat was dry and tasted old. I had asked for chicken fajita nachos but got shredded chicken instead and only the top layer of my nachos had meat so after pulling off all the nasty meat i saw leftover sour cream and guacamole and i think maybe refried beans (it was so little of it i cant be sure), after that i saw a pile of dry stale chips that i attempted to eat with the really runny salsa that was provided for me but it all just made my head hurt so i just stopped trying to enjoy something that was so unenjoyable. Im just 😞...

My wife and I tried Alfredo's on Buffalo Gap the other day for a quick take out lunch. Let me preface my review by saying that I lived in San Diego for 4 years and Phoenix for 3. I know my way around a California Burrito. I've had great ones, awful ones, and just about everything in-between.

The California Burrito here is top notch!

Honestly, it's better than anything I've had in Phoenix and it rivals some of the best I've had in San Diego. Great prices, fast service, large portions, and excellent taste.
