my past at least 20 experiences here were absolutely horrible. I kept coming back to give them chances but every time I get to the window or the front register to order, I immediately regret my decision. this is honestly the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. the baristas are ridiculously rude, they always get my order wrong, the drive thru is extremely slow because the DTO cannot multitask, and they are the least attentive and personable people I have ever encountered. when I inform them of the fact that I didn't get what I ordered, they sigh and reluctantly remake it. this may not sound that bad, but as a former Starbucks partner and a gold member who worked to get those stars instead of just signing up when the new rewards program came out, it saddens me to see how much these people truly do not care about customer service. I would much rather go to the Starbucks on Barrow St. regardless of the fact that it doesn't have a drive thru, simply because their store is much better and the baristas certainly care more about the customer experience than the ones at this Starbucks. I will not be returning to this location and sincerely hope that the store manager/district manager cracks down on these baristas/shift supervisors. UPDATE: I gave this place another chance and wouldn't you know, the drink was wrong. I ordered an iced chai with vanilla and light ice. One of the EASIEST drinks to make besides a cup of water! Yet, it was still wrong. I got a full cup of ice with vanilla syrup and milk. Not a single drop of chai. Again, never returning to this location. If they can't make this properly, imagine how badly complicated orders come out. Get...
Read moreThe absolute worst Starbucks I've ever been to in my life. It took 32 minutes to get one drink. There were four cars ahead of me and the inside seemed relatively empty. The children they have working there can't take money and an order at the same time so once you actually get to the order board, you have to wait for the worker inside working window to get done taking the customers money and give change, which should be relatively quick you would think but it's not at all. Once you finally get to the actual window to get your super magical drink that took 30 mins to throw together, they don't even as much as apologize before ripping the money out of your hands. The consistency of their drinks, compared to a much more efficient store, absolutely sucks. Their drinks NEVER taste the same and aren't ever how any other Starbucks drinks taste. If you get a hot drink with shots, the shots are dead, so it tastes like cigarette ashes and the milk has been resteamed so much it's scorched. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, EVER! THANK THE GOOD LORD ABILENE IS GETTING ANOTHER DRIVE THRU LOCATION! THIS TELLS ME THAT THERE IS A GOD AND HE DOES LOVE US AND DOESN'T WANT US TO HAVE TO SUFFER THROUGH ANYMORE DEALINGS WITH BUFFALO GAPS COMPLETELY INADEQUATE EMPLOYEES (if you can even...
Read moreBad experience after bad experience. In the past 3 weeks I have had nothing but issues here. I ordered large amounts of coffee the night before a meeting for a pick up. The morning of they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Upon reviewing their written records they found my order and realized they didn't make it. It took over a half hour of waiting and I was almost late to work because of it. At my next visit I order a simple cold brew with cream blended. Waited 30 minutes. I asked the barista (Michael) if they were close to working on it at that time like I've seen many people before me ask. Instead of answering me with a number like he told the other people. He rudely tells me I need to be patient. I did tell him I had been waiting 30 minutes. He ignored me. So I went over to the cash register and asked for a refund. The cashier who was very nice was shocked that I was still there and agreed it was too long to wait. He refunded my order and compensated me with a small gift card. I will definitely not returning. I will now be frequenting more locally owned coffee shops over...
