Big Top Beverage — Restaurant in Abington Township

DO NOT SPEND YOU MONEY HERE!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. It came highly recommended for their assortments of beers. However, customer service DOES NOT exist. I asked for a German beer called Kölsch. I was pointed to the "Import Wall". Fair enough, no complaint yet. After walking up and down that aisle 3 times without finding it and without further help, I asked if they had a microbrew called "Allagash". I got the extremely helpful response "Yes". No direction whatsoever. When I bring it to their it their attention they think it is kind. actually judging by their smiles that seemed to be their entertainment for the day. Then the Manager on Duty - I guess - refused to give me the phone number for the owner. I guess that how you massage your customer complaint statistics because she proudly told me that - and I quote: "...in 40 years they NEVER EVER had a complaint..." Also in 13 years that she has worked there, they "...NEVER EVER HAD A COMPLAINT..." Soooo, if you want to support a business that does not care about the customers, then go here and spend your money here. If you expect even one iota of customer service or decency, go any place else. This place was amazing with a fantastic selection and I'd been buying beer from there since 2011. The 3 stars is because they no longer price. This place prices none of the seasonal stuff, and makes the pricing not the easiest to find on everything else. I went in there for the first time in over a year after having a kid, and they still don't have their stuff together? What gives? This is basic commerce. I asked about the prices or how we'd know what things cost, and the girl at the counter said, "Well we don't have any discounts going on right now." I asked about just the regular prices again, and she just shrugged, "Yeah, everything is regular price....." I looked at her so confused and she just said, "Yeah I don't know. I can check something out if you're interested in it." I just bought something that was actually labeled price-wise and left. I'm not going to ask about the 12 beers I'm curious on the floor selection. I've got a life to get back to, and that's painful. I decide what I'm getting based on price and quality. Some cases in there are over $100, and I get it because sometimes I buy them, but I'm not trying to play roulette at a cash register. You guys have a bunch of people working there. Big top has a great selection of beer at decent prices. I would have given them a higher rating but every time I go there to get a growler filled they can't do it The first time the cashier was unable to find anyone to fill the growler. The second time the gentleman who came up to fill the growler looked confused and after watching him work on the lines to the taps for a few minutes I told him I'd just get a bottle of something instead of waiting for the growler. Last night I tried again and there was something wrong with the supply line to the beer I was interested in so I was unable to fill the growler again. Another customer was there, interested in filling his growler and he also left without a fill. I don't see the point in having a growler filling station if there is no one available that knows how to operate and...
