Clearly upset to use my time here. After reading the reviews, I just can’t understand how this Chipotle is still in business or not seriously taking a look at its staffing. This would be my first review ever. I am compelled because this location is clearly not managed well. My wife ordered online and I went to pick up with 3 children. First time at this location. We order weekly to bi weekly in Fort Washington My wife contacted me to let me know she couldn't find a quesadilla online to order and informed me that I would have to order quesadilla at location. My son entered the store with-me, grabbed the bag of burritos and headed back to car.
I stood at counter with no one else in line except a door dash pick up. Cook acknowledged me and said place order down counter. Lady down counter filled up bags of chips, turned saw me and continued to fill bag after bag without helping me. After a few minutes passed the third employee acknowledged me and asked me to step down to her to take my order. I asked for a quesadilla and was told I have to order online. I replied that we tried, ordered other food but couldn’t order quesadilla online, employee repeats I have to order online , I repeat we tried that already but couldn’t and I need to order here, employee repeats I have to order online. I repeat again, employee challenges me to show her why I can’t. I explain my wife ordered I don’t have app. etc. employee continues to still repeat “you have to order quesadilla online.”
Now I am still no closer to understanding the “why”behind this “demand.” But isn’t there a shred of customer service being taught here. Where is the “I am sorry for your experience let me help you with that” or “I am sorry but we have to bc..... let me see how I can assist?”
Instead she was willing me to leave with no recourse but to comply with her demand. So I thru up my hands in defeat and left without my daughters food. I texted my wife situation. Her reply, “That’s why I never order from that location, it is poorly ran.” So back to our usual location but man oh man. I have known Chipotle since living in AZ 20 years ago and it was always quality food and great customer experience. This location is really settling for bare minimum. So to pile on here a little. The place is also dirty, boxes everywhere and the appearance of food delivery only. Which is what I would suggest. Lock the doors from customers Chipotle so no one has to continue with this...
Read moreI recently visited the Chipotle and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, my friend wanted to order a quesadilla, but we she was informed that it could only be ordered through the app because making it in-store would hold up the line. This seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience, especially since you COULD order a child’s quesadilla in person.
When I slid my cup of iced tea down to put sugar in it, I only found Sweet ‘N Low. I asked for sugar, I was told that they only had Sweet 'N Low.
I must also mention the cleanliness problems at this location. During my visit, I noticed that all of the trash cans were full, which is not only unsightly but also unhygienic.
Furthermore, both the indoor and outdoor dining areas were not clean. Tables were dirty, and there were visible spills that hadn't been attended to. This lack of cleanliness detracted significantly from the overall dining experience and made me question the restaurant's standards of hygiene and maintenance.
In addition to everything above, there were no napkins, I had to ask for them.
Overall, the lack of flexibility, basic amenities like napkins and sugar made this dining experience less than enjoyable. I hope the restaurant can address these issues to improve customer satisfaction in the future.
As someone who was a shift manager at a restaurant many years ago, I highly recommend stocking up the beverage/condiment counter and changing trash cans right before dinner to prevent some of this. There should also be someone assigned to periodically check the dining area throughout...
Read moreThe lady that prepped my quesadilla did not even care to ask if I wanted anything on it. She was making my food while asking the next person what he wanted. Was not even paying attention to me. I overheard her saying to the customer "you should get 3 tacos instead of two and make it a meal" he responded well do I get a drink with the meal or chips? She said no. Then he asked well is it the same price either way for 2? She said no 2 is cheaper. He just giggled and said no I would 2 tacos thank you. Either way I get the food and sit down and come to realize the quesadilla was not cut into pieces. I went back and ask them to cut it and they said they are not allowed with no explaination. So I said whatever and walked back and just decided to eat it and come to realize the quesadilla is dripping with grease everywhere. I opened it up and it's only steak and cheese. At that point I wanted to speak to a manager . The manager said they are not allowed to cut the quesadillas do you to the aluminum foil. I told a manager well why don't you cut the quesadilla without the aluminum foil underneath? He then told me that there's plastic knives over on the side. I then told him why didn't you guys say that the first time when I came. At that point I said just give me my money back. Which the manager did. I believe it starts from the top sO I don't blame the worker. The manager should've made it right. He kind of did with giving the money back but I really just wanted to eat a good meal....
