Zero stars for this place. Tried chicken Marcella and the sauce was yellow and as we all know, Marcella wine is not yellow. So it tasted watery and gross. Then they brought me chicken parm. Which was fried and burnt around the edges, also disgusting, and they're charging $20 for this. it's not even a real chicken breast. It's a cutlet that is frozen. The owner Mike came over to my table and was very angry because he stated that he's been doing this for 40 years and no one's complained, then he proceeded to take the chicken parm on my plate and tear it up in little pieces in his hands even though I actually didn't complain about that. I was going to take the rest home. So that was my experience, there. Everybody in the restaurant who heard him looked like they were in complete shock at his poor behavior and he told us never to come back again. Well, okay, not a problem. You're not a real Italian restaurant and shame on you for your a very poor behavior let's be real. You're in the business of customer service and you suck at it. I am now adding to my review because I just threw up every little thing that I ate there. Which was basically spinach and a little bit of chicken disgusting? That goes to show you how unsanitary...
Read moreTwenty and thirty years ago, when we lived nearer, we visited Roman Delight more often, or took out pizza or pasta dinner now and then. Last night we wanted comfort food and a glass of wine (beer in my case), and this was the obvious choice. (Maybe not so obvious: my wife wondered why I picked it: our other comfort food place is takeout only, and I wanted us to get away and sit down together.) The side salad isn't large, isn't fancy, but it's what it should be, and the balsamic vinaigrette was tasty. The glass of wine wasn't as large as other places serve, but I don't think it was as expensive, either, and my wife found one glass was enough to accompany the meal. The pasta—we both enjoyed it greatly. She had baked ravioli or ziti, I think; I had baked stuffed shells. Hot, tasty, with a good sauce. Nothing exciting on our table, but the familiar, the comfortable. I went home with a distinct feeling that all was well, a sense of satisfaction in the goodness of the meal. This, too, is as...
Read moreThere are better choices but you could do worse. Average, expensive food that is not worth the long waits. They made me wait 40 minutes for an $8 sausage parmigiana when there were no other customers in the store. I would rather pay Station Pizza $4 for the same sandwich and wait just 15 minutes. Roman Delight's cheesesteaks cost $8 but they do not even use ribeye, just cheap fatty sirloin. Again, certain competitors charge half that amount for the same sandwich. The $22 pizza has canned tomato sauce that tastes like the can. The best shops use only fresh tomatoes in their sauce and charge less! But again, you could do worse, especially in this...
