OHot Cajun Seafood — Restaurant in Abington Township

Over all what we ordered was good but not great. It's worth giving it a try and see if if you like it. We have been spoiled with our own cooking and ability of trying more locally fresh seafood area restaurants to take this review into account.

The wife likes seasoning spicy but she said it tasted more like hot sauce to her. I must say the spice (medium) does hit you right in the back of the throat. I'm a big fan of extra spicy and would of like to try their hottest next time.

Since it was delivered the fish and fries had gotten soggy but that's kinda expected when not fresh to a plate. The shrimp, crabs, corn and potatoes are swimming in a a bag of spicy butter sauce. We did finish everything but not finger licking good.

Wish they had a combo with just crabs and shrimp. Question myself is would I order again? Maybe if in in the mood for seafood, just don't feel like we're getting a good bang for our buck here. Maybe with time things...

The hostess was very polite but the food just wasn’t it - it smelled nothing like it tasted - there was absolutely no flavor to their butter garlic mild sauce … crawfish were supposed to be 1/2 lb but seemed a little under and one of them unfortunately was bad and had a bad odor…the snow crab cluster had a lot of that unpleasant black discoloration on the claws and the meat inside was way too soft it didn’t seem right just couldn’t figure out if it was undercooked or no good… The fried oysters smelled so delicious but the oil they were cooked in was old and so the fries and oysters both had an overwhelming old oil taste which if you’ve had old oil before you know can be nauseating…. first time visiting & I wanted to have many more visits but sadly I think that was a first & last time purchasing at...

Me and my wife celebrated our 17th anniversary on Sept 1 and had our adult kids and their wife over for lunch on Labor day. We order over $200 Worth of food. Alittle reluctantly at first cause I've never tried it and love Cajun food. We had everything from the NOM NOM NOM seafood boil to Cajun wing and tender to Po boys! If you're on the fence about trying this place , please try it. Definitely a top 5 meal We had in 17 yrs and she is. highly allergic to seafood . So glad I tried it. Not gonna be an every week thing but will definitely be going back a few times a yr. ( i was paying for 9 people and everyone got plenty to eat and were able to have leftovers). Well worth the $.
