Combination Platter: 4 out of 5 burps! 1/2 Chicken Parmigiana and 1/2 Fettuccine Alfredo. Two of my favorite Italian items next to Monica Bellucci and that skinny Food Network lady that you know doesn't eat the food she makes, that skinny little... If memory serves me right, this place used to be closer to Farmers Branch. You know the "not so well off" area. Now they are in Addison which is like what, Irving to Las Colinas? I guess the cities that break off from adjacent "not so well off" cities are like the theory where you can drink to kill off the bad brain cells or something? But back to the food. Yum num is what this is! It's just the right amount of chicken to sauce and cheese ratio and the fettuccine is muy bueno! Its cooked very well and not at all overcooked or in the case of the pasta, stuck together and hard. Si, muy bueno. Get off my case, I can't spell the Italian molto boune or whatever. Somehow it always comes out Malt-O-Meal and I just don't feel like fixing Apple's crappy spellchecker! My only complaint about the food is that when they were in Farmers Branch, the same thing was about $5.99...maybe even $4.99! Oh but time changes and so does inflation so you really can't fault them for this. The other thing I like about this place is that it has that real Italian feel. You've got the Don sitting at the bar and what seems like other "family" members always walking to him and chatting it up. You don't get that at the Olive Garden...and if you do, then the Don you're looking at is like the Mayor McCheese version. Sure he's got a sash on which makes him official, but he wouldn't last in a...

My family and I have gone here for years and never had a bad experience. Tonight was different, my family and I walked in and the manger was not wearing a mask. So that was odd at first. We all sat down and the waitress was incredibly sweet, she had no idea what was going on(she was new at waitressIng) she walked with me to the bar (the bartender happened to be the owner, ALSO NO MASK) the waitress says “she would like to know what cocktails we have and if we have a menu” The owner says to her in an extremely aggressive and condescending way “what about it? What do you want?” I said “what tequila do you have?” He yelled at me “WELL, HOUSE” So, I ordered a tequila old fashion. I’m a bartender. It’s not a hard thing to make I might add. He had no idea and proceeded to tell me how to make one or he couldn’t make one(it was very confusing and he was incredibly angry). This went back and forth at least 5 times. So I settle for a tequila sprite. The glass given to me had FRESH lipstick on the glass. Absolutely FRESH. We tell her “we will pay for the drinks but we have to go. The way he spoke to you and to me was not okay” I tipped her and the owner got loud and tried to yell at my boyfriend for not wanting to drink out of a CLEARLY dirty glass. The manger and the owner were so disgusting to his wait staff. I am appalled. Being in the industry, this man doesn’t deserve to have a her or anyone work under him. He spoke to her like she was the dumbest thing on earth. She was just trying to learn. And to speak to her like that in front of a customer was even more embarrassing. I hope she finds a new...

Been here before a while back and while it didn't leave an impression either way, I decided to try it again. As soon as we walked in, it was made obvious that we were not welcomed. The hostess was also the server. My grandson was hungry so I decided to stay. He ordered the personal pepperoni pizza which came w a salad. The salad was not brought out and when I requested it, the server/hostess replied, "you have to order it," to which I replied, "No. I believe it's part of the meal." She brought it out. Ranch dressing was good but the salad was plain. The pizza was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the manicotti. I have to give the manicotti a negative score. The shell was soft as a crepe or thin pancake n tasteless. The meat sauce lacked Italian taste. It was a chili meat sauce. The server and owner Joe refused to replace my meal. Their checks are handwritten and the math was incorrect. The hostess/server was annoyed that I caught that mistake. No sweet tea. The tea they do offer was more like dark water. The atmosphere is not bad, but also not great. Patio tables were dirty and the dining room was dark. The server/hostess was not very nice to my five year old grandson. There is never a need to treat a child the way she did. The owner Joe was not very nice. I gave this place a second try and will not return. DO...

This is a true mom & pop sort of Italian joint. Very tasty and fresh pasta, definitely homemade. Menu likely hasn’t changed since they opened 20 years ago, so nothing healthy in sight. Bread on the side is fresh and pretty good. Eggplant parmigiana was delicious. Side salad wasn’t special, but blue cheese crumbles were nice. I found it distracting to have to listen to both the overhead music and the bar TV simultaneously. Closed captioning, anyone? The place is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and paint job. Tablecloth was filthy and the floors obviously hadn’t been swept lately. Would still go back, though. Super friendly waitress, too.

I had been looking forward to trying this place out, because I know it is an Addison institution. The atmosphere is nice. Cute place with nice music playing. The lunch prices were great, as was service. The portions were a good size.. I also very much enjoyed the caesar salad. The stratacelli soup however was very bland, even though I could tell the spinach was fresh, which is a bonus. The Angel Hair with Marinara was also somewhat bland. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing. For the price, it might be worth it, but that is about all it has going for it.
