Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Addison

I just moved to the area and wanted to try my nearby Schlotsky’s and this location really made me regret it. I’m the type of person who regularly uses apps and placed my first pickup order here. It was not busy at all and I just had one car in front of me in the drive through. I waited for 10 minutes and the car in front of me didn’t move. So I got out of my car and walked into the restaurant to see what the deal was. There was 2 couples eating inside that had their food and no one even at the counter. It was not even remotely busy. What on EARTH could have taken them so long to handle one car? The time was 7 pm so it was a busy hour. I started to walk behind the counter to see if anyone was even working. I found an employee and asked him what was taking so long. He was EXTREMELY rude to me, same with the person who gave me my food at the window and not remorseful at all for wasting my time. The saddest part is the food is was pretty good, but I’ll still never be coming back due to the awful service. The time was 7 pm on Sunday 8/17.

09/20/25: we had a medium beef and cheese. It was so fast that it was delicious and it was a clean good visit here.

12/06/24. We had nice experience tonight. The manager was just finishing up on some cinnabons. They were warm and with fresh icing. We had that one on spot while waiting for sandwiches. The sandwiches were wonderful, but the darn cinnabon was way too good! Thank you for being there!

04/13/24: We were e in a hurry and we had a good experience. My wife ordered the ham and cheese and cheese broccoli soup. I ordered the turkey and the cheese broccoli soup. Everything was delivered fast and accurate. Best of all everything it was tasty and filling.

Very disappointed in this place. I come here once a week to get the giant sandwich and save up points the food is absolutely delicious but the customer service absolutely sucks. I went in today on 4/20 to order my regular sandwich a giant fiesta with ham no chipotle no red pepper the girl at the register had no idea how to use my points or the register I had to show her she had to scan it she also refused to let me add any of the extras like bacon ,avocado, and turkey that I always order. SHe told me very plainly I had to take the Sandwich as it comes!!!🤬 i’ve worked in restaurants and hospitality all my life you definitely want to upsell and get that extra money for add-ons so I basically wasted my 200 points and got a sandwich I absolutely hated I’m very upset about this I will not be returning to this store. I know management trains their workers but she made it an impossible situation and didn’t know how to work the register at all thanks a lot...
