My husband and I visited this location today. We waited in the drive thru line for approximately 10 minutes until an employee approached our vehicle and asked us to pull onto the side into "spot 2". She only pulled three cars out of line. We sat on the side for an additional ten minutes watching her struggle with the order for the car in "spot 1" as she ran back and forth into the restaurant. It was evident that she was not prepared to begin to work the drive thru line. Finally she comes to our line and I ask her "Why did you pull us out of line, the cars that were behind us have already gone through the line now. She responds, "I am sorry, they told me that I had to. It is suppose to make the line go faster". I told her, "Well, it did not. Instead we have been delayed further". She then goes on to say, "You are going to have to get back into the line anyway because I am having technical issues". Needless to say, we left. We had been pulled out of line to the side to be told that now we would have to go back to the back of the line that was to the road.
I did call within 15 minutes of leaving and spoke with the manager, Allison. She seemed bothered and basically gave me the scripted line of "I am sorry that happened to you. That should not have happened to you" and then there was complete silence. She ended the conversation with, "Have a great rest of your day". As I stated, unbothered. Clearly, she missed my statement of "My husband and I left. We needed to place an order. You lost a customer". If this is the tone of the leadership, I can understand the actions of this employee... giving no regard to quality service.
While I applaud the efforts of running an efficient, quick line; please do not lose sight of the importance of quality customer service. Today, however, you missed the mark on both. Let's face it, Chick-fil-A without their standard of customer service is just basic chicken and we can get that anywhere.

Read moreNote to anyone who goes to the North Augusta location DO NOT DRIVE OFF WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER. They do not replace missing items that you paid money for. I spend an average $60 a week at this location but never a dime again. A week and a half ago I order 3 combos and when I got home one of my Chicken sandwich’s was not in the bag. I usually don’t call and complain when they give me cold food or incorrect items, which happened often, but I called that day and they took my name and said they would replace on next trip. I have been there few times since but during breakfast so did not ask for replacement those times. Today I go and get my son a kids meal after school and asked for the replacement and was told they would not replace it cause you have to come back same day. I was not told that when I called and even had been told that I would not been able to drop everything even be late to work to drive back and get my sandwich I paid for. I live 15 min from this location and gas is not free. So please check and hold up everyone before driving off and make sure everything you paid for is in bag and hot, if not your just giving money away go pick it up. Read moreBeen eating here this week for lunch on my way to work or school. Ordered a salad and was not given the dressing. Came back the next day for lunch and asked that the salad be remade minus the chicken since I ate it and to order a side of strips. Was told I should have returned the same day, no managers were available as they all left at 1pm and I had to call corporate for a refund. Corporate says the local store has to refund the money, they are all independently owned. Long story, customer service at this location does not exist. No apologies that we forgot your salad dressing for your salad, I was told I should have come back that day. In a time where we are all having to maintain the normal with fewer dollars due to increase in groceries and gas and other necessities, a fast food establishment whether rob you of a $9 salad than to correct their mistake and apologize. Had I known I had to return the same day, I still would not have. My drive to work is over 40 minutes. I will not return because I can’t afford to eat here and they can afford to forget salad dressing for a salad and expect me to drive 40 minutes back to get it.
