Diablo's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Aiken County

I go to Diablos at least once a week and always the Whiskey Road location. However, yesterday, 08/16/2022, at 11:15AM is the last time I will be going there for a while. All the usual staff who are AWESOME were gone and a group of the rudest, most entitled ppl I have ever met were there working. They weren’t even serving full portions and I was ignored when trying to communicate with them. I was treated as though I were an inconvenience. I ordered the large queso and was given only the small bag of chips with like ten chips in the bag. These ppl legit wouldn’t make eye contact and wouldn’t help with anything. Sadly I got the impression the might either be owners or from another store or from corporate because they definitely behaved as if they were too important to be bothered to be there. The food prep was horrible. Tasted terrible. Worse than ever. My queso was cold. I didn’t even get half the food I normally do. Everything was always great. Why did they have to mess it up? Edit: The manager at this location is phenomenal! Great customer service, she definitely made things right by me, going as far to remake my food herself. Food tasted great as usual, chips were crisp and perfectly salted, meat was flavorful and the quesadilla was grilled perfectly. I truly appreciate the customer service Diablo's has to making things right! Thank y'all!

I've been a consumer of Diablos since they came to North Augusta back in 2016-2018ish. always consistently delicious, great portions, and yummy chips.

Today I didn't get that experience. I usually order my go to quesadilla on doordash every couple of months as a treat or when I've had a bad day as a pick-me-up. But to my surprise, today when it came the food was lackluster as best. Blander than usual, no signature portion size, and the chips were so stale they tasted like they had sat out for a week.

Not the consistency and quality I have come to expect from them at all. I'm quite disappointed and will likely be taking diablos off my list of comfort restaurants...

Don't visit Aiken very much but love Diablo's. Unfortunately had the WORST experience at this location ever!! Service was horrible. The young man who made our food seemed lost. I wasn't able to get the bowl I wanted because no one knew if there was any of the shell bowls available. Not much of a selection because there was empty tubs instead of food. The manager/lead with a red shirt at the register and he was just as confused as the rest of the employees. Paid 40$ for 3 people and got barley any food. (Unlike the rest of the locations) I usually get more food than I can eat. Tables were dirty. With the exception of maybe 2 employees out of maybe 6 that even looked like they were trying. Kudos to the young man and young lady that seemed to have their hands full with the staff that seemed to not know what the hell was going on. Do not recommend this location until something is done!!! Would give 0 stars but atleast...
