I recently had the pleasure of hanging out at Mercedes Tavern, and I can confidently say that it has become my new favorite spot in Akron! Under its new ownership, this tavern has transformed into a welcoming gem that truly captures the essence of community and great food.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The new owners are incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. It's evident that they are passionate about creating a fantastic experience.
Now, let's talk about the food! I tried the turkey melt with Dijon mustard, and it was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a place that offers great food and a welcoming vibe, Mercedes Tavern is a must-visit. I can't recommend it enough! I was just really disappointed because we wanted to show our support but we were literally invisible. In the future we plan on attending again but it would be nice to have...
