The workers don’t care about their job you can tell as soon as you get to the front line today I go in around 6:30 PM I tell the young lady at the front I want a bowl to go brown rice pinto beans chicken I pay extra for the brisket as soon as she put the brisket she doesn’t even take a full portion as she did for the chicken I kindly asked her hey can you please just give me a full portion like you did the chicken she gets upset at me like I am crazy slides my bowl down the line and walk off the next work comes and asks me is everything okay I kindly AGAIN explain myself all I want is the full portion that I should be getting because I am paying $18+ he says this “ that is a full portion I saw her put it in” the funny part is this guy isn’t even near us to even see if she did or did not. It gets worse from here, unfortunately, he grabs a plastic cup the ones where they put sour cream on the side and he told me I can show you I was like yes please show me as I pull out my phone to record him I also forgot to mention I ASKED FOR A MANAGER he SAID he was the MANAGER which I 100% believe is lying so he takes a spoon puts it back on top of my bowl and picks up all the brisket to put it on the plastic cup to show me that it is a portion. Yeah, he did that !!! I have the video I never knew in my life you could measure a serving of chicken or brisket by putting it in a plastic little cup from my understanding the SPOON should have been filled worst experience in my life as I walked out everyone laughed. His name is Noah...
Read moreOne of the great miseries in life is not knowing the last time you did something. Today I was blessed with the knowledge that I ate my final meal at Chipotle. Ever. For over a decade I’ve enjoyed the highs of this once-great boutique burrito shop and I’ve watched it’s steady decline into the miserable purgatory that it is today. I can’t put myself through this anymore.
This particular Chipotle on University is equally as disappointing as any other but they served me my final straw today. A simple order: 2 Bowls (BOGO), a large queso, chips and salsa, and three bottles of water.
The portion of pico and corn salsa on the bowls was limited to about 4 cubes of diced tomato and three kernels of corn. The lack of color on top was accented by about a pint and a half of white rice. Yummy!!
The bottles of water we ordered were likely lobbed directly on top of the bowls from about three point range, crushing every poor ingredient on the top bowl into oblivion.
To top it all off, we were given no chips and salsa. Just a large bowl of queso, apparently meant to be enjoyed as a soup rather than a dip.
That’s it for me and Chipotle forever. I’ve made peace with it now. And thank you for your service Chipotle at University, specifically. I wish I could say I...
Read moreEdit for 2nd visit: This visit was worse than my last. Mid day, very slow. Almost no one there for lunch and no line. Waited about 5 minutes before we were spoken to, even though about 5 people were standing there. I asked for an item, and one girl dead stared at me didn’t say a word, then walked away. Then 2 people came over a few minutes later. Both were nice enough, but could maybe use some more training on making items. I assume they were new. The first stared with a not so nice look on her face at me during the whole order. Such a weird experience. My daughter (12 years old) even said, she felt like we were getting stared down. Food wasn't good compared to other locations. I should have known better.
Dear owner: we will not be back. It looks slow during peak hours on a Sat. Employees need a lot more training and possibly customer service coaching. The food was sub-par. Also, fix whatever leaks water into the lobby area. This is the 3rd time I've almost slipped with water on the floor in the same exact spot. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Fist visit: Just left. They didn't make my daughter a quesadilla. I stayed in the car while she ordered. She came out in tears. Said they told her there were no wraps... when the next...
