I came here on May 22nd to celebrate my sister and it was an unpleasant surprise. I was first greeted by Ava who was friendly and took my order for two 30' pizzas. Ava was also kind enough to take my order for drinks after I placed the order for 2 pizzas despite other people waiting in line because my party finally arrived. The total for the pizzas was $110.22 which I expected given inflation. Kayla the manager was rude, I bought an additional 3 cups of ranch for my party after my pizza was brought to the table and had to wait or go up to the counter to grab the cup of ranch rather than Kayla bringing it to me, i never would have imagined bringing someone a cup of ranch would be a hassle and take long. It would have been much better to deal with Ava the whole time. I wish I took a picture because the Pizzas had very few toppings; there was no ricotta (not enough to taste or see) and the chicken was scarce, my sister was disappointed; I never minded the thick crust on these large pizzas because the toppings used to cover the entire pizza and make up for it, but I basically got slices that were 30%+ crust and the rest of the pizza was just cheese. I was frustrated with the stingy amount of the baked chicken topping on my pizza. Yes the slices are still big but the topping quantity was easily cut in half. The bacon pizza was more or less the same, disappointing and not what it was last year. When i brought this up to Kayla she smiled and explained how sorry she was and that next time she would make sure to add standard amount of toppings lazy moon promises. I used to come here at least twice a week before moving to south Florida, it used to be the best. Management must have changed because the servers are extremely rude and...
Read moreImma crack the can open here and we spilling THE TEA. My review here is a direct result of the one here before me 4 hours ago. We come here to this location regularly and enjoy the atmosphere and the staff as they are always extremely personable. I decided to try their new Meaty McMeatface slice, which is a red sauce slice with pepperoni, seasoned beef, bacon, and their new Birria Beef (absolutely FIRE). Upon ordering it, the gracious host behind the register asked for me to let them know what I thought because a prior customer ordered the same slice, ate it in its entirety, than demanded a refund or a better slice. Upon offering this disgruntled pizza officiando only a cheese slice to make up for the 97.6577879% eaten slice, they had the audacity to demand another one?!? PISHPOSH!! The below reviewer then waved their “BLOGGER” status at the staff as some sort of culinary-literary weapon at their disposal. NEGATIVE THERE DAISY MAY. Anyway let’s get back to the actual meat and notional potatoes, and talk about this new slice. The blend of flavors from the meat toppings is a pleasant herb-filled one. We opted to get a side of the Birria-jus (birria aus jus) just because, and I can’t recommend this more. The red sauce gives a tangy pop to the different cured meats making it a perfectly balanced and overall heavenly experience for your taste buds. Wash it down with an ice cold Pabst and you can thank me later. 12 out of 13.6 stars, two thumbs up.
PS: even if you are a “food blogger”… you should probably not eat an entire NY slice and then demand your money or replacements and berate staff. Especially when you have only TWO google reviews total, so be better folks. Be awesome like the staff at the UCF...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant a couple times now and all have been good experiences till now. The food was great, I got the Down Home slice and it was delicious so props to the cooks on that one. When it comes to the friendliness of the young lady who took my order, it was a different case. I was met with someone full of impatience and the lack of hospitality for their customer. When I approached for her to take my order I began by asking for a recommendation between 2 slices and for her opinion on them, instead of responding she immideately took it as me ordering them. I then said wait I was asking for a recommendation between the two and instead of saying “ oh my bad” and helping me with the recommendation she met me with, “ no you didn’t say that” and didn’t end up giving me any sort of recommendation. With this she continued to have a rude tone and was very sassy id say, 2/10 customer service. To the management, I’d recommend getting someone else in her position as they would make guests experience much better. As a manager of a restaurant, I know the very very common hospitality rule that the customer is always right, which she did not seem to know. I don’t know the employees name but she was a young lady with glasses, a tattoo on her arm and...
